I expect our boys will and should come out really fired up for this one. If they don't, wouldn't it be a clear sign the coach has lost the dressing room? But the Cowboys are in good form. Going to be a really hard game. In my view Woolf has to drop a big name or two after last weekend. Molo has to be one. That "attempted tackle" (I put it in quotation marks because it was a glorified attempt it was so bad) on the Sharks prop can't be allowed to stand. Who else? Could a reshuffle be on with Donoghue starting at 5/8 and Kodi halfback?
There will probably be a shootout between Fuller and Averillo for the backline cover on the bench. Who does it go to? Fuller was probably better but Averillo more versatile so it should probably go to him.
If Plath isn't back, hopefully Stone is. Could really have used Stone last game. On the subject of lock, I think Knowles is going ok. Far from our worst. But I think the team looks much better when Plath or Donoghue are playing lock. No way Woolf will drop Knowles. He is one of Woolf's recruits. But he might be tempted to start him on the bench, especially if Plath isn't available.
