Round 17: Dolphins vs Warriors

Still injured? Unless my memory is fried, he played against the Cowboys last weekend.
I read something 2 days ago that he was still sidelined with a Calf injury, My memory isn't the best, i'm only 50, but the good life when I was younger has taken its toll.

I do read a lot of articles during the day, just unsure where I read it. However, I do remember it was Tuesday, as I sent my warriors mate a message telling him we were going to Lap them because i read he was out. due back round 19.

It also mentionsed Halasima and Khan- Pereira were still out too.

Warriors have a few of their big guns out. We should win this quite easily though it would be a big mistake to underestimate them.

Couple of things need to go our way but first step will be beating Warriors by 22 or more today which will take us into 2nd on the ladder. Then we need NQ to beat Penrith. Then we can seriously start thinking about the possibility of the minor premiership. Recently Penrith have started to look very beatable.

Then again, it's also a risk that we are peaking at the wrong time. Can we keep playing like we have over the last several weeks until September?

100%. However, I did enjoy the resting of players against the tigers. If we can keep the big guys fresh for later in the year, resting them during winnable games, we could be good.

Bennett would do it all the time at the back end of the season, then they would lose a few, but smash it in the finals.

Top 4 is vital to have a real shot. The poor start makes it shaky to rest guys will full confidence and ensure top 4, so we have to be careful.

However, our initial recruitment with Bennett and O'Sullivan has set us up well with great depth. I am confident will how they have developed into the team we have now. I reckon we will shock the Wahs.

After origin, they will increase the work load in training, which will see us suffer a blip but will be beneficial for the back end of the season. The timing may vary with teams now getting 3 byes a year, but the workload will increase and various players will be rotating

The Dolphins at home at near full strength in the midst of a seven game WS. NZ with some big OUTS in Ford, JFH and others, but continue to defy the odds. All signs are pointing to a match where the home side further stamp their authority on this competition. They may even come up with a victory margin that enables them to jump into a Top 2 spot. I won't be that ambitious, though.

Dolphins by 10
FTS- Hammer
MOTM- Nikorima

Dolphins by 24
FTS - Cobbo
MOTM - Fin

Warriors are a seriously good team but they have some serious talent sitting on the sidelines. I expect it to be like a number of our games against weaker opposition. Close game for the first 60min before we run away with it.

Good start. Lot of Warriors fans here! A lot must have traveled up from Goldie.
