You do realise that 6 of the seven players the Knights were missing are props some also with SOO or international Test match experience othersWell we were missing:
It's not who we are missing it's the fact they are all middle forwards.
- Saifiti (ex Origin prop and was in red hot form this year until his injury)
- Flegler (one of the best props)
- Plath (our best from last year)
- Gilbert (Origin lock before injury)
- Kaufusi (ex Origin backrower and now very good prop for us)
- Kerr (Been in really good form)
Anyway, well done to Newcastle. Played well. Katoa had a shocker for us and Hammer should swap with Averillo.
who have been playing very well for the Knights before injury and two very promising players starting out their first grade careers, the 7th, Greg Marzhew is like
a front rower hitting the ball up. The Knights were missing more front rowers than the Dolphins and had second rowers filling in in the front row.
The point I was making is that so many posts on here were stating that the Knights were at 'full strength' which is clearly untrue. The Knights were harder hit with
injuries than the Dolphins. Deluding yourself like that doesn't help assess the reality of the loss.
Cheers.
