As well as he has been playing, I have to tell you now, he's not as good a lock as Plath or Gilbert. But he is a better interchange utility than both.
I never said otherwise I said he's been a key player for the Dolphins this year and he's probably now gone past Wishart as the best utility player in the current game.

If I was to pick my awards at the mid-season mark this is how I go
Fullback Tedesco
Wing Kiraz (Coates)
Centre Crichton (Farnworth)
5/8 Strange
Halback Katoa
Prop King (Haas)
Hooker Egan
Second Row Young (Kikau)
Lock Clark
Utility Donoghoe
Coach Ciraldo/Gould
Captain Tapine
Best Signing Fisher-Harris

Lomax is by far the best winger.
King better than Haas?🤣🤣 Red Red, he's raving about Bulldogs again. I thought after the utter thrashing we gave them he'd stop.

Donga at lock unlocks Katoa it was a crucial subtle internal change Woolf made for the round 5 game against Titans that has helped unlock the attack, free up Katoa and allow Hammer to be the Rolls Royce that he is.

Woolf has really learned the hard way and to see rewards been very pleasing to see. There are still 10 games to go and Dolphins need to win 6 to make the final 8.
dont think its been the hard way at all hes said , all along he wanted them firing at the right end of the season , there were lots calling to sack him, ffs go look at his run up in uk, took his time there and with blackhawks , like someone said on the shows the other night , you just trust what you got like the adage that bellyache has the players that step in for the injured or unavailable players no the task at hand and get at done

Dogs are a good team. Just unfit and slow. When we thrashed them it was close for the first half but as the game went on, their lack of fitness became more apparent.

And their small forward pack, which was soft as fuck.

Haas is not only the best prop in the game, he's close to one of the best players in the game.

I put him on ignore with mr.c

They must be related in some way. I kid you not, I have never read so much bullshit out of two people in my life time.

And talk about knowing nothing about the game. mr.c calling for SoS over Katoa, DUMB.

Matt calling the Dolphins unfit, and suggesting we should watch out because of our supporter base is full of people who support us as their second team (Dolphins having more paid up members then the Bulldogs). DUMB

when I picked my best players it’s for 2025 club games only not career not origin not reputations just club games this year. King didn’t play against Dolphins. He’s carried the Bulldogs pack this year and that’s why he’s made origin normally NSW don’t pick effort players like King.

Dolphins in the first 4 rounds didn’t look fit, they looked off the pace, everything was slow in what they were doing. Absolute credit to Woolf and the players getting them out of trouble and into 6th spot by round 15. I’m really happy for the Dolphins to do well and I was first to praise them when they beat the Bulldogs and on other platforms I got stuck into Bulldogs fans looking for excuses or blaming the Turpin no try.

As for the comment re supporter base it’s still a very new base so winning results and style of football counts for so much to generate new fans, better coverage, more exposure and the club becoming a destination club. A lot of NRL research shows Dolphins didn’t poach fans from other clubs they have more the casual observer who have adopted them as a team. This is why winning is very important and after the last 3 weeks Dolphins have finally cracked it in the Sydney market.

Dolphins and Broncos are the only two teams who worry me in a big game but if betting markets are a guide to the minor premiership standings they’ll be week 1 of the semis so one gone straight away. Broncos and Dolphins are the only two teams who have the game to beat Canterbury. Broncos best team on paper with the most talent across the board and Dolphins have the fastest team who can score a try from inside their own half. Canberra play a style to trouble us but they don’t have the petrol to sustain it.

To quote Billy Slater from today keep on firing the personal abuse I can handle these days I couldn’t 5 years ago but someone else might not be able too.

Captain Katoa is a very good choice Woolf is a conservative and measured individual he didn’t panic at 0-4 when everyone else did me included so if he makes Katoa captain he’s given it a lot of thought and it ticks every single box.

Of all the people I've come across on the internet you're the most repulsive and one I never go near because you're likely to pull out a knife or gun.

Gary is my favourite poster at the moment. He calls it out for what it is.
Lomax is by far the best winger.

I just don't know. If you ignore his Bulldogs bullshit, a lot of Matts comments are good. I know he likes to go overboard with criticism from time to time but it's not really very much. He knows about what's going on at the club. I'm so busy at work recently, I'm glad he is here letting us know what he knows because I don't have time. Just FFS, this Bulldogs stuff is out of control.
