Woolf has to go into this press conference and call Gough out for being biased and call the Warriors the fairytale story. Dolphins need to show they won't be bullied around. In the end that knock on not called cost us.

Its player with errors in them that cost us.A few hard passes but still passes which should have been taken are costing us.
Most of the penalties against us were fair. Probably all of them. One knock on by them not called and one knocked back from us was called a knock on. But to be fair, I thought in the second half there was an attempt to square up with several dubious 6 again calls our way on the 4th or 5th tackle. There's no doubt there no knock-on call hurt but one bad ref mistake doesn't excuse all the dropped ball and high tackle mistakes by the Dolphins players. The coach blaming the ref just means the players aren't held accountable - I would be very surprised (and disappointed) if Woolf falls for that one when baited by a journo in the press conference
I think we can do it (go 8-5) but need a bit of luck on the injury front. Not only players getting injured but some of our best.Full credit to NZ. The Dolphins basically spent the entire second half in the opposition red zone, but couldn't break the line till the 71st minute. But, I thought the Dolphins were impatient at times which led to their many errors (16). They needed to complete their sets and wait for the Warriors to crack. And the Warriors did crack. They've been doing it for 30 years. Unfortunately, 16 points was too many to track down. Disappointing.
The Dolphins need to finish at least 8-5 to snare a playoff spot. While it's not out of the realm of possibilities, it is extremely unlikely with this squad and it's ever increasing injury toll (among other things). Starting 0-4 was always going to bite them on the ass.
I can't argue with that. A game high 50 tackles plus 97 running metres. He is a really good player in the making.dolphins gave their player of the match award to Donoghoe
No one really stood out. I'd probably have gone with Herbie. He is a menace with ball in hand and defends well too. But Donoghue deserves it.I can't argue with that. A game high 50 tackles plus 97 running metres. He is a really good player in the making.
But...... isn't he very unfit?dolphins gave their player of the match award to Donoghoe

There was also the no knock on ruled knock on when Hammer fielded a short drop out.
Thanks, some good news at lastHorror round for QLD teams!
Agree. Give it to the refs once, cop the fine and then see how it goes.Dolphins needed to grow a backbone, go on the attack and happily be fined for the knock on & off side both being missed and having to deal with an 8-1 penalty count.
NRL isn't about participation it's about winning at all costs.
Wouldn't be bad if Dolphins weren't one of them. If Broncos implode again...... Surely there will be a few of their players on the open market. Very good players but maybe don't work so well as a team. Thanks, some good news at last
Absolutely. Got nothing to lose except a few dollars and so much to gain. The coach and CEO have to support the welfare of players, members & sponsors and can't have match officials walking all over the club.Agree. Give it to the refs once, cop the fine and then see how it goes.
