Michael McGuire showed last night how he's got the Broncos completely zoned in, it's an all in none out mentality, it's a badge of honour to vomit into the bucket and players challenge each other to do extras after training ends. Canterbury learned last year to get to Penrith's level of training and Broncos are taking it to a new level. Everyone is on the same page and the scary part about last night is they should have won by a lot more Roosters won't be the only side to concede 50 to the Broncos this year.

For now he's got his star studded side playing at 100%. Their second string team smashed the Dogs in a trial. Lets see if he can keep them up for a whole season let alone more than one.

Flegler is a huge must for Dolphins and he's tracking well he will help rest the mid to late season slide of the last two years.

Too many middle forwards are nearing the very end of their careers and the pace of the game has caught up to them especially in the middle and defensive zones of the field.

I've still got Bulldogs around the 3-6 positions they do have a very plumb draw including Dolphins when Hammer and Gilbert won't be playing due to Origin and I think Broncos as well in Origin without Haas, Carrigan, Cobbo, Hunt and Walsh.

Broncos were my tip before last night to win and enhanced even more.

• JMK, stop flopping in tackles and giving away 6 again or penalties. Easy to see you are doing it from the TV let alone the ref right there.
• Gilbert has been rusty. No mistakes but getting smashed.
• Plath is not an edge forward.

• Katoa has been disappointing.
