We got hammered in the six again calls 3 of them on the 4th tackle , once we got a fair amount of ball we were looking good. I said last year Oryn Keeley gets fatigued easily , he missed some easy tackles yesterday that indirectly led to tries , he wasn’t the only one but the extra defence we had to cover ruined us in the end. Once we get our ball handling together we will be ok

This is all true but some of the defence was just...... no improvement from last year.

Poor first game from Knowles. Which to me may highlight an issue. Which is also highlighted with the George Williams signing.

If our eye for talent is directed at these types, we need correction specs.

Its knowles first game. I will give him time. I wont pass judgement yet. But he needs to be a heap better.

Playing sport in the cool of europe is one thing. Play is the condition in Australia is totally different.

The penalty he gives away to me is moronic. To me a sign of a gases player early on. Making shitloads of tackles is par for the coarse as a player in the pack.

Giving away dumb penalties which lead to points against cancels all that hard work out.
