They, in my eyes, are just looking to insight rubbish. What motive could i possible have finding, lets say a Bulldogs forum to post something, especially when your side is playing theirs? What possibly could someone from Paddington supporting the Rooster add to a contract discussion on a Dolphins player other then to talk rubbish.

I for one cant handle people talking rubbish, especially with a low post count and being an opposing fan.

I will just put them all on my ignore list, because they serve no purpose to a Dolphins fan.

The best side won the other night. Mainly due to issue most of us agree upon. So its in no way sour of me.

Jubilee ave has a great model. And they fans from other teams there that they allow in and moderate accordingly.

I will say, By the Bay hasnt done anything wrong. So i have no issue there. He actually seems nice.

It still dont see the point. And my head cant get around why you would post about parra as a dolphins fan. Id dont give a shot about parra. I dont even post on jub ave anymore. They arent my team, and I havr no value to add.

The beauty of forums is everyone gets to put their opinion across. You seem to think you have the overarching say on what should be posted, which arguments are valid, and when someone else should “leave it there”.

My point was never that Sydney is cheaper than Brisbane. It is that people make choices about housing, location and lifestyle. Apparently once someone earns $1 million, you believe they stop making trade-offs. I do not.

And players clearly do move south. Money, opportunity, family, football, there are plenty of reasons.

So disagree with me all you like. That is what a forum is for. But guessing my income from my “diction”, presenting your employment history as authority, and then telling me to stop discussing the financial angle is a bit rich.

I brought my wife's job into it being in bank, to suggest to you that I full understand the workings and costs around a change in state move. And my real estate background to further that.

The point I have highlighted is a great point. Its that people make choices about lifestyle etc. As you have said. And people that earn 1 mill a year do make trade offs. I agree with you. But, only to a certain point. As they climb that financial ladder so do their lifestyle needs and the level of status they require to match that level of income. Whether you want to ignore it or not, people arent going to want to move backwards as they have gotten their lifestyle to a certain point. There are many theories out there like Marlow's Hierarchy of needs (whilst that doesn't fit exactly here, it kind of highlights the point) that explain the progression of needs in regards to human philosophy.

The only thing I will say to you is, you say its your opinion, and credit to you. But what's the opinon of someone commenting on the needs of a person earning 1 mil a year, if they have only ever experienced earning $200k a year max? I'd say it isn't worth the screen you've typed it on.

As I said Herbie may move to Bondi, would it be a financial win for him? Not totally, as the cost of living would be higher for a lower standard of living. And would that move be worth a 300k extra in salary, I thought no. Which was the original point. before you made a 2 line comment, after making 2 posts on the forum. I would go back and quote it for you, but its not worth my time.

And I love how i have hit a spot with you, because me being the fuckwit I am, I know I have pigeon-holed you perfectly. Hence, why I tell you to stop discussing the financial angle.

If this sounds arrogant to you, have at it. But calling out people talking rubbish on a forum, with a team they don't support, doesn't bother me in the slightest when they are offended by it. Especially, when you sign up just before the game to talk about the contract of a player you haven't signed.

Now, stay if you will, that isn't for me to decide, as I don't moderate then forum. So no I don't dictate what gets discussed, and nor should I, its only my opinion as you so aptly put it. The thing I do decide, is putting you on an ignore list. Because people from other teams, posting on other teams forums are weird, not here for the right reasons, add nothing, and are in general in their mothers basement at 40 years of age.

Congrats on growing up in Sandgate and moving to Paddington.

In my view if players are moving for money they got to PNG live like a member of the military and shove the cash into investment packages.

Herbie is a young guy hes got reasonably 10 years left maybe a tad under. if he goes to a 'big' sydney teams it'll be because he thinks he can win a championship. He knows he can never play origin, England will be lucky to get to the Semi finals of the world cup let alone win the thing. A player as good as him will look back and need to see a ring to confirm he made it.

The warrington game? didn't watch it. I very rarely watch SL. I go to the challenge cup final and usually watch the SL GF but that's about it. Most of my RL is watching the Championship.

I'm pretty central in the UK which means if i want to drive to games most are 2hrs or there abouts either London or M62 teams. I don't have sky as they spend all the money on the premier league and its like watching paint dry.

Plus the SL standard has fallen away massively since the start of Covid and the teams only act in their personal interests. Take Catalan for example, to remain in SL they are required to foot the travel costs of all teams going to France. Plus they M62 teams want them out due to the fact hardly any fans travel over from France. James Graham rightly points out SL clubs would rather have the likes of Halifax or Swinton who will bring 500 than a French team.

The average RL fan in the uk expects to get to a game on a bus with their whippet, have a pint of shit mild beer a pie or bag of chips and get the bus home in time for the 6pm news.

Id suggest for most sports people that's the primary driver. And in the short term, he might have the best chance at a club like the Roosters.

However, give it another 3-5 years, once we are fully embedded. I think we will be thought of at a similar level to the Broncos.

We will have to win one before we become a premiership destination

I think Wakefield can win as long as their owner can just stay the away from the team and coach until well after the game I just can't see that happening and he'll do all he can to interfere.
