I'm still not sold on Bostock being the future. He's better than he was sure but unless hes on a very very slow burn rise the guy has peaked. Hammer i've never thought was a fullback.
 
I think Roosters can't afford Toia and Herbie as their centres. Toia is very good now. One of the best centres and will command around 1 million himself. Can a club afford 2 centres on 2 million between them? I doubt it.

excatly n if herbie comes on huge money toia would want it and personally dont see it happening seen i think walker saying put there will see him on even more than herbie they talking upwards of 1.5mil a season for walker


as it stand herbies a marquee player ( and i can see not to much of a issue keeping our guys of contract if they love our club and no our cap situation i highly doubt they would want to much more ( kodi went on overs if bostock n others want to let them i doubt very few wil leave now unless its overs )

After everything ive read. And everything ive heard about Herbies personality.

I am confident he stays.

That is with Reader sayong we can afford to keep him recently. As well as suggesting the willingness to keep him at marquee price
 
The thing to remember he isnt the normal center getting center touches.

He goes looking for the ball. He doesnt wait for it to come to him. He isnt a crighton or mitchell. He works.

Thats why he is worth it.
 
Added to my point above. Watch NRL360 and other shows wirh their hard earned stats. He is always at the top or close to. Others on that list are generally forwards.

Here is why I am confident of keeping most if not all the big players.

When you read their suggestions of where he could go, if it were you, would you swap the Dolphins for any of those clubs? I'd stay for unders if those were my alternatives.

The other thing, they look like they are having fun this group.
 
like a guy said me last night bar the 2 old heads in kodi n jaymane that got overs n possibility of ray if signs rest if wanted to stay for long time like selwyn i see the rest doing the same i think the whole we struggling in the cap is bs all other clubs get bye ok under cap pressure and lets face it jaymane kodi what they got left 2 years ray maybe two- 3 years as well when you got core of young lads try keep them long as you can plus george be here just to fill in before the young ex dog nsw rep players are ready so he wont be here much longer either

also find it really odd we had cap issues n we were still looking at leota ( plus bar george not linked to to many which tells me we good chance to keep a bulk of them)

as if we loose herbie we obviously linking up with someone way better no way would jack be on mill a year in new contract

You raise a good point about the group having fun together. Those who follow socials know a lot of the young guys spend a heap of time together and have a laugh during the fan questions. The odd ones out of that seem to be flegs and stoney. Stoney can be forgiven because nothing makes him happy except hurting other people, but flegs seems on the outer a little. I wouldn't be too surprised if he doesn't stick around.

my issue with fleg going is leaves seb thom g n molo all are injury prone dont see many props coming through that are nrl ready and i think we would need buy outside the club n good second tier prop will still come with good price tag i dont see fuis sticking round or someone else used
as prop


and i going be really intrested to see who stays or goes in our delopment lot , and who the remaining 8 will be as won't be keeping them all

Flegler seems like a quiet dude to me, form seeing him around.
