Recruitment and Retention for 2027

In 2024 trai said he would stay here even if he only played qcup because he likes it here and yeah for that he would have taken unders easy.

As for having too many locks in starting to wonder if woolfy is trying or at least experimenting with three locks or a different type of forward makeup, because our three fittest players are either locks or middles in donga, Plath, and stoney, and they are all tough and relentless, plus two have ball playing and halves skills, plus can fill at hooker and so on. If this 6 again goes even harder teams will wish they had blokes in the middle that never got tired, and with the added benefit of not just utility value but actual ball playing skills which also compliment a faster and more tiresome game when we have the ball. I'm really curious to see if we can make something of this unique situation where we have such power and diversity in the lock position while maintaining a presence and bite in the middle.

I like seeing our boys bash the opposition in defence, then Plath and donga in the middle with attack are chucking the ball around before it even gets to Izzy, and the nikorima on top of that. I'm really keen to see more of it.
He's an excellent depth player. We are lucky to have him for a bit longer. I guess for the rest of his career.

like a guy said to me yesterday with the way that trai loves this club n fact hes a year deal suggests one thing he knows his time in first grade will be limited again but still needed when injures but will be used more in cup

oh hes unfit lazy blah blah list goes on
As a club we are doing exceptionally well at either signing well or developing players falling out from other clubs. Seems odd to hang your boots on but I'm enjoying it. Makes me wonder how much goes on behind closed doors whether it is the assistants, head coach, counsellors or what that really squeeze the full potential out of our guys. No one comes here and gets worse except through horrific injuries.

He got offered a nice deal to go to England for 3 years. But he’s a local lad who doesn’t want to play anywhere else
St. George offered him the rest of this year and one more. He wanted 3 so they ceased negotiations.

You think if he was offered a 3 year deal on average fullback money he wouldn't go?
I remember Ben Teo (think thats how you spell it) who use to be his coach say that Fuller is a great fullback who should be in thr NRL. However, he doesnt want to leave the area.

Seems he is just one of those dudes that wants to stay in and around brisbane.

So, as strange as it sounds, I dont think he would go. He is the only player in the league I would say this about.

Hence my. Reply. Hes had offers n turned them down. End the day no matter the years if wanted to go he would and there be no way he be on the 900k plus for two years drinkwaters on
