I suspect he could have gotten another contract with us if he actually wanted it. We've all seen him play busted and never let off the throttle. For him to quietly just call it I suspect he really has damaged his body even more than we know.

I think quietly slipping away is bang on his style. very Barry Sanders.

If Ray wanted to play on, Broncos could do much worse than sign him. He might scare half of their forward pack even when they are on the same team.
