How long has it been since a winger was man of the series?

Now the dust has settled, can we say Cobbo had a shocker? I'm not sure. He made a lot of mistakes but troubled them with his running game. That dropped ball late in the game looked like the product of fatigue.

I think Qld didnt go forward, putting pressure on the outside backs. Did Cobbo play well? not to his standard. Was the pressure his fault no. I thought he was okay considering his side. His mistakes were a result of NSW being relentless, QLd forward pack being run over.

I say it wasnt a good match to judge Cobbo on, and we put that one aside.

If I am scouting a soccer player, which I have done in the past many times. And I was scouting Cobbo in that match (firstly it wouldn't be the first that I watched), Id right it off as an outlier. Because the team contributed to his poorness on an immense scale.
