Morning all, just dropping into show face, i'm just getting ready to head to wembley. its looking like sizzlig 10 c and 10% chance of rain. I'm conflicted on who to support, on the one hand Australia are like the pantomine villans of world RL but as a Wales ruby league fan its anyone but the English despite myself not actually being Welsh.

I miss the GB lions i mean the team is basically the same but GB had a bit more of a ring to it. Lots of talk over the rules that have been agreed. Much slower ruck speed up here narrower tighter game due to poorer handling skills. its either going to be wrapped up with Aus winning by about 50mins or its going to be a slog. I wouldn't like to guess which.
I watched the first half and then when Aus scored in the second to take it to 14-0, I decided I had had enough. With no Dolphins players in the Aus team but one in the near future in the England team, I was going for England.

I hope Molo doesn't get more than one game as it means he missed opening NRL round I didn't think there was nothing in it other than maybe penalty sufficient

Molo fined 13-20% of match fee depending if he pleads guilty or contests the charge.

I've come to the conclusion that REP games should sit outside of the standard judiciary setting. too many players are scared to go all in for fear of a ban carrying over either into rep games or from rep games to club games. Internation RL should be all out and players shouldn't be holding back for fear of a ban impacting their clubs. Fine their match fees sure ban them from further internationals sure. But leave the club system alone.

That was pretty ridiculous. Molo wiped him out early in the game and was given a punishment about 1/50th of his match fee.

This would bring Australia back to the field but we also see a return to the ugly days of Les Boyd and cheap shot elbows.

Personally I just hate how a player with the ball ducks, slips, crouches or whatever just before contact and the tackler gets penalised or worse.

Not really as they would be carded for it. it seems the judiciary is too scared to make an on field decision as it will impact the 'spectacle' how often is someone given a ban but wasn't sin binned or worse. I've never believed anyone should be banned for future games unless they were sent from the field for the original incident.
