What's new

Finals 2025

Penrith too good for us today. We made a fatal mistake and Ivan Cleary made a masterstroke and that was resting the entire team bar Schneider who didn't get on the week before. We needed to do the same more so we had our byes early. We just looked so off the pace in the first half and like Canberra threw everything into last week hoping to get a week off naturally.

One thing I can say to defend the Dogs is that the first half from Penrith is as good as you will see. I don't think many teams could have gone with them. The only way would be to fight attacking football with attacking football, as the Dolphins can and will do in spades next year.
In other words. The Bulldogs aren't good enough.

That's how you have to play to win a comp.

A team is only as good as the opposition allows.

Was a good game last night. Cronulla were closer than I expected. Melbourne aren't as much favourites as I thought earlier. Though that is the first time all their big guns have been on the field together for a while. I think they are going to be better still next week. I think Penrith will win tomorrow but wouldn't be surprised if it's the Broncos. I can see Penrith giving Melbourne a run for the money due to the way they play but if it's Broncos, I think it'll be a blowout, obviously in Melbourne's favour.

Who you supporting today? I'm not really fussed either way. I'd prefer the Broncos win but don't want us to become a "junior partner". I think we are strong enough now that we won't be such a partner but still a successful Broncos will take away from our supporter base.
