I just wonder, if Fuller is fullback next year, Hammer and Herbie centres, what is going to happen to Averillo? He'd be an excellent backline utility but probably wants to start.

after his performances i'd put him in the halves and have kodi back him up

In a major development from Redcliffe, Ray Stone almost smiled after he scored. Only fleetingly until he reverted to the customary scowl.

This has been going on for a while. Niko has the occasional blinder. Like in the last round against Canberra's reserve grade team and Averillo has proven inconsistent at 5/8 though if he had a full off season training at 5/8 and then a good number of games there, starting in the trials, who knows how good a 5/8 he could become. I know Niko plays well on a regular basis but I feel Averillo has a much higher ceiling.

pretty much agreed, Jake with Niko whispering in his ear in training and steadying up in games where it isn't working could have a very high ceiling.

I agree on the Averillo ceiling point it’s much higher and he hasn’t even come close to his peak years.
