What's new

Did Wayne Bennett sell out the Dolphins from the start?

Yep. Because Im unsure which australians are going to want to be in PNG long term. Depending on what they are planning fot home games. Their Qld cup team played out of Australia from what I understand (didnt pay attention to them)
Is the idea of the money being tax free still on the table? I think that'll convince a few Australians or Kiwis going there.

Just gonna get us back on track here I only just remembered that the inaugural players all said that Wayne pushed and stressed that round 1 2023 would be the most important game anyone ever played for the club and that they had to win it, since their would never be another chance to win their first game.

It's something I am endlessly glad we got right, regardless of how the rest of that season and other seasons played out we won our first game. On the same note I think it's beyond important that it is in the clubs DNA that they fight tooth and nail to never concede a spoon for the same reason.

I hadn't heard this before. Was a good game. Roosters were considered one of the premiership favourites.

I can't remember where I heard it now that I think about it, but it sure was. Sort of flagged kaufusi for the dolphins reputation he still has haha.
