Round 1 team according to News LTD:
  1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
  2. Jamayne Isaako
  3. Jake Averillo
  4. Herbie Farnworth
  5. Selwyn Cobbo
  6. Kodi Nikorima
  7. Isaiya Katoa
  8. Daniel Saifiti
  9. Jeremy Marshall-King
  10. Francis Molo
  11. Tom Gilbert
  12. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki
  13. Kurt Donoghoe.

  14. Trai Fuller
  15. Felise Kaufusi
  16. Morgan Knowles
  17. Connelly Lemeulu
That is due to:
  • Flegler unlikely to be put right back into the NRL.
I'm not so sure. He will play in the trails and if he gets through ok, why wouldn't be play in round 1?
  • Bostock and Plath are touch and go due to the timing of their ACL injuries.
I don't agree with that either. It will be 9 months which is standard for ACLs. Particularly Plath who I though did his about a month before Bostock.
  • Speculation on whether Fuller or Hammer would start at fullback. They say Hammer might be moved to centre.
    I agree with that.
But one thing I very much disagree with is Gilbert in the backrow. It's just not his game as he proved when he played there for a few games last season. Gilbert to start on the bench and Lemuelu starts for me.

Either way, Kurt will see a lot of minutes. If the backrow is Lemuelu and Finefeuiaki, Woolf might go with Gilbert starting with instructions to run around tackling everything that moves and running hard for 20 min then make way for Kurt's more attacking game. Bring Gilbert back on as a prop for the last 20~30 min. It'll be interesting if Plath is back for round 1.

You are just saying that to piss off Matt.
umm no couldn't care less,

It's obvious full strength side , hes hardly going to carry injury cover unless theres not fully fit players . that be the only time he be there its like trai they gotta have decent injury cover players waiting in wings

you can keep the love fest you have with mattt n his opinions , together

Did you watch his games last season? If his form holds, I think Woolf will prefer him over Plath and Gilbert.

Won't throw players out of the team for being injured. Throw players out of the team because their injury cover proved to be a revelation and has surpassed the previously injured player. If it happens at the Dolphins, and I don't see how we can afford to keep 3, or 4 or 5 counting Knowles and Stone, locks. When all 5 could play first grade elsewhere.

end of the day what you say in that last paragraph is the telling sign morgans comes in plath n gilbert here till 2028 so they be your 3 key ones

oryn will go , or be full time cup player

which leaves connie fin and kurt ( and with kurt he be there when injuys happen ( i think fuis is a prop no way morgan or gilbert will be unless they have injuries during game ) i don't see any them going if fuis goes prop n oryn goes n they ( use kurt as injury cover )

Looks pretty accurate but as you say, Bostock and Plath will be back. Unless they have had some kind of setback in their recovery. I agree Flegler will be eased back in via QLD Cup. I think Kaufusi will start and Frank Molo on the bench.
