What's new

2026 pre-season

What did we learn from the trials? We can still score points with the best of them but can't defend points with the best of them.

Tbf, three of their tries occurred when the Dolphins were short-handed. It was also the same time that the younger guys were getting their stints. The same young guys that snatched victory in the last ten minutes. I'm not saying there isn't defensive issues because there definitely is (along with some other problems), but we'll get a better scope on things in March.

Agree with both of you.

Not concerned about it.

We will be better come march when all players alongside each other are familiar with their defensive patterns, rather then starting next to a youngster in a trial who is on show for prospective game time in the season.

as they always say in the NFL offence wins games, Defence wins championships

I've watched and i'll be honest, i don't see much of a problem. its was a revenge hit for the hip drop early on. try and injure mine i'll injure you. good old fashioned enforcing.
I'm pretty sure the Warriors player didn't mean it to be a hip drop. That looked much less likely to be punished than Molo's.
