Gilbert to prop. So the prop rotation will be Flegler, Saifiti, Molo, Gilbert? Not a bad rotation at all. 3 big props and one smaller hard working prop.

Gilberts size at prop doesn't concern me at all. He plays well above his weight. Size in other packs with other players is a concern. Here I dont mind it because he runs hard and plays hard. He actually could excel there with his ball playing ability.

I agree. Considering it's a first trial, seems like a surprisingly strong team.

Think it’s more a sign of the strength of the squad we have this year, there’s still plenty of quality available.

I did say in here a few weeks that Gilbert might get a crack at prop. Keen to see how it goes.

On another note anyone else see the 1.2km times from the boys? Plath and donga win both with sub 4 minute times. These two are really showing the way for the odd size/shape outgunned forwards by just being war horses with no quit.
