Terrible game from dolphins.
Very ordinary defence and not enough go forward.
Dolphins we dominated all over the park

So was that not a shoulder charge from Norths no. 10 in the opening minutes of the QCup game today? No intention to wrap… not even a penalty to Redcliffe?

Completely agree.
The ref was pretty ordinary in alot of her decisions.
Especially in the ruck and Norths constantly slowing down play numerous times..

But again dolphins were terrible, first half no go forward once again, no quick play the balls - way to many incomplete sets due to mistakes.
Dolphins playing to much side to side cause they had no punch up the middle.

Devils were dominant up the middle, alot of go forward and easy meters - quick play the balls.
A few mistakes from devils kept dolphins in the game on the scoreboard, but realistically dolphins never looked like winning.

Max bailey (middle,) co captain
Way to many mistakes and missed tackles, no leg speed st all & no punch.

Josh Allen (middle) not much punch at all. Can out on a hit when needed, but the dolphins need more from him.


Lui (5/8 way to much sideways plays and some terrible decision making pushing the pass under pressure, needs to relax more and make better decisions.

Will partridge ( left centre) was ordinary coming out of yardage & was completely lost in defence

Kyle Schneider (hooker) co captain started on the bench, who's knows why maybe had something to do with Woolf nephew.
Any ways looked like he dislocated shoulder or something.

Tom opacic (2ndrow,) doesn't offer much for an ex NRL player.
Doesn't stick in defence, doesn't Run a line, I guess I had higher expectations & his yet to deliver in my opinion.

Junior topou (wing)
For a NRL player I'm underwhelmed how ordinary he has been.
His carries out of yardage has been poor, his defensive reads have been ordinary
Again I had higher expectations than what I seen.

Not sure what's going on here, but molo played 2 times for Capras but yesterday game moved to the devils, weird one since dolphins are the ones struggling to go forward.
Devils had I believe 5 NRL dolphin affiliated players.
Molo, Bromwich, Keely, O'Sullivan, LJ,

It's like the dolphins are stacking devils and to a degree the Capras but not giving priority to there own team to make them better.

Look again only my opinion, to much side ways movement, not enough go forward at all, I think it's going to be a long year unfortunately for the dolphins

I have my theories why Molo played for Norths yesterday and 90% of it I reckon has to do with him replacing Felise next week and needed game time. He’s played so little football due to the Dragons fall out.

Molo replaces Teague as a North allocation and Sua replaces Molo as a Capras allocation. It fits in well that many of the younger players are Capras allocated.

Surely Molo should at least be on report for a shoulder charge. It is a duty of care. A bit of consistency would be nice. What a joke. I agree with Josh Kerr. They don’t give a shit about players and their welfare or mental health. It’s a business.

I just saw a video it was a shoulder charge and doesn’t matter on a shoulder charge where it lands it’s still a shoulder charge. Josh has rib damage no pretending.

And there was a familiar face on the bench for the Dolphins in their 34-16 win over Mackay Cutters — Karl Oloapu. The 20-year-old was released from his contract with the Bulldogs after suffering a career-threatening neck injury.

Oloapu moved home to live with his family in Redcliffe and just over a month ago returned to the field via Brisbane’s A-grade competition.

He took another big step on the weekend by playing off the bench in Queensland Cup, finishing with three runs for 25 metres, three tackle busts and 17 tackles — two misses — in 24 minutes.

Redcliffe are in the major semi final against Burleigh Bears. Bears won the minor premiership but are very beatable considering the number of our boys who were called up for NRL due to all the injuries.
