    Round 15 vs Sydney Roosters

I do love these 11am kick offs, very civilized. the 4am from Auckland isn't one i particualrly enjoy. I have to admit when its just a straight 1up set they seem to get better metres. However when its time to move the ball and break the line we do have the upper hand. Speaking as a fan of the...

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

$1M is not that much for Herbie. Espeically when PNG's tax free scam will skew the cap which is also rising at the end of next season. Loads of players with ratchet clauses will be on over $1m

    Deliberate Knock on

Only fair if the next time a centre/winger put their hand into the line and bats the ball down when we are passing out wide gets done too. Which we know it wouldn't. Its a penalty that is never given and its just so happens that when they cows are 14-22 down with 22 to play the ref gives a...

    Deliberate Knock on

So, yes it is in the rule book, however when did anyone last see or hear of a penalty given for a deliberate knock on before yesterday? I was at a game yesterday and asked around various fans and staff/ex players etc. nobody can ever remember seeing it called.

Round 14: Dolphins vs NQ Cowboys

in fairness with the close contact to the opposition he probably didn't know whether it was the ball of the player.

Round 14: Dolphins vs NQ Cowboys

Its a bit of a shitter for those clubs who are tied down on long contracts with bigger players. you clear your cap space make a signing and then before they even arrive the rules have changed.

Round 14: Dolphins vs NQ Cowboys

It would be very interesting to see a year on year comparrison on the avg player weight across the league to see if it has dropped (as i susupect) since the 6 again.

The sad state of UK RL

They've held the CC at Wembley for like 100 years, basically since it was built. There is always talk about leaving it because well its really hard to get too and not exactly down the road. However the history and tradition lot win out. There was a good argument in the 90s when they were talking...

The sad state of UK RL

So quick update. Wembley yesterday. 56k (allegedly) turned up. in a 90k+ stadium. the cheapest tickets were like £20 ( easy comparison is that Minimum wage is £12.71) Its a shit state where you cannot even sell out the lower bowl of the ground. The Challenge cup is supposed to be the jewel in...

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

No, we need another forward. Still we go through chunks of the game with little go fowards and the back line carries the attack.
