    I see your point but the form Plath showed when Gilbert was injured then the form Donoghue showed when Plath and Gilbert were injured, I think Donoghue has to be in the 17. He is a genuine utility so I think #14 is perfect. Leave it to Plath, Gilbert and Knowles to fight it out for 2 more spots...

    You have a good memory. I remember that game I think in 2023. They were without Ponga and we were dominating but bombed literally about 5 tries and lost by 1 or 2 points. It turned out to be vital in the context of making, or in the end, not making the finals.

    They had an injury toll even worse than us last year. Including Ponga out for most of the season. Take arguably the ebst player in the game out of any team and it will struggle. I'm not saying I think they will be good. I don't think they will make the 8. But I doubt they will be close to the spoon.

    It's kind of funny the farce going on there. Kyle Flanagan wouldn't make the reserve grade team if his dad wasn't head coach. But I think good ol GC might collect the spoon. They have 3 high quality fullbacks and zero quality halves.
