Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

How good is that 19 year-old Warriors backrower? Though I'm afraid for them, they can't beat us without their gun hooker and halfback.

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

If our team, with it's second string forward pack and missing its best winger beat the Broncos, who I think are at full strength now....... a lot of eyebrows are going to be raised and I think McGuire might come in for some serious criticism. More than anything, I'm looking forward to next...

Round 22: Dolphins v NZ Warriors

Warriors also having some issues with injuries. Of course not close to as many as we have out but losing their halfback who was in very good form is a very big out. On the Dolphins front, Nicholls will certainly be back and hopefully Kaufusi as well. Unless Flegler makes a surprise return, I...

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

Probably right but in the second 3rd of the season, how many MoM performances do you Kurt has picked up? Or picked up given we are into the last 3rd now.

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

On current form and the way he's improving, Keeley has to be in the team. Kurt D as well. As of right now, Kurt, Katoa and Herbie must be neck and neck for Dolphins player of the year.

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

Averillo, Donga, Lemuelu, Keeley, Katoa and Hammer despite a few mistakes but I thought Herbie was a lock for MoM.

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

Nerve wracking last 20 but now I'm going with my halftime opinion. 3. Herbie 2. Averillo 1. Keeley

Best in first half: Herbie Averillo Keeley

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

I don't even know what's going on. With all the outs, I was hoping to keep it close and squeeze out a late win. Unless there is a big second half turnaround, I think Cowboys will be looking for a new coach by Tuesday next week.

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

Kurt is playing out of position. He's the 3rd choice lock, maybe 4th. Played well considering that, IMO. Dolphins by 8 MoM: JMK First try: Herbie

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

It's a good thing but any idea why Woolf named SOS to start with? Trying to cause a meltdown among supporters only then to say, "just joking"? I like his sense of humor!

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

I didn't think Hynes feasted on anything. How many try or line break assists did he have? That's what one wants from a halfback. That was against almost our second string pack. But I personally would have gone with Averillo 5/8 but have to trust Woolf has a plan.

    Promising Juniors

Dolphins young gun James Walsh had a day out for feeder side CQ Capras. The 19-year-old centre/second-rower scored four tries, got four linebreaks, 11 tackle busts and 154 running metres in the Capas’ win over PNG Hunters. Is it time for a call up? Finefuiaki out for a few weeks now but Keeley...

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

Nicholls was a category 2 head-knock. I think he'll be available for selection.

    Round 19 vs Cronulla Sharks

Did well to fight back but our backs were always against the wall in this one. Herbie and JMK had blinders.

    Round 19 vs Cronulla Sharks

Woolf went with the same option. I never agreed.

    Round 19 vs Cronulla Sharks

True. The attack of this stop-gap team isn't good enough to score 2 times in 25 min. But to be so close to them with so many outs is a really good result. Hopefully Kaufusi, Nikorima and........ Flegler back allows us to sneak into the finals.

    Round 19 vs Cronulla Sharks

Running it on the fifth tackle when they should kick is something we've been doing since game 1. Woolf needs to tell them to STOP IT!

    Round 19 vs Cronulla Sharks

Katoa needs to stop getting caught with the ball on the last tackle. What's he doing? Surely the coach can't be telling him to do it.
