    It's probably been mentioned before but the Dolphins are planning to table a very healthy offer for Xavier Willison for 2026 onwards. With Kaufusi, K Brom and Nicholls all off contract, they'll certainly have the funds.

    The glaring issue though is that Gilbert, Lemuelu, Fuller and Flegs aren't tipped to be available in Round 1. A couple more injuries during the preseason could see could see a significant sick bay before the season even starts.

    WB very unhappy with the Fuller no try. He continues to call for the bunker to be scrapped. It certainly was a big call and may have influenced the outcome.

    Newcastle are up for this and are playing really well. But they are notorious for fading out. If the Dolphins can crack them a couple of times, it will go along way towards victory. The injection of KNik will be a key moment.

    It could happen but unlikely. But this game will be painfully close. Projections of another Dolphin master class are way off mark. This will be a very tough match to win.
