    Round 6: Dolphins vs Penrith

Cleary is still a good player for sure but it's exactly as you say, it'll take him a while to get used to life without Luai in the team.

He started making noises about "how his job was done" in order to put a brave face on him basically being sacked.

    Round 6: Dolphins vs Penrith

I didn't realise Luai was as good as he obviously is. He's transformed the Tigers. If he stays healthy, I think he's going to lead them into the finals this year.

    Round 6: Dolphins vs Penrith

I was gonna blow up on Katoa for his kick for touch from a penalty just before Hammers second try. Dolphins were under the pumo and he kicked it about 7m.

2025 Other NRL Clubs News, Updates & Signings

Sounds to me you are nervous about salary cap cheating and are hoping Gould takes the fall for the club. Not gonna happen. It doesn't work like that.

Good. You are welcome to him. No one else seems to want him. Penrith certainly don't.

    Recruitment and retention

After Gould sacked him, then in became apparent the club bosses overruled Gould and wanted him back, Cleary returned and didn't make any secret of the fact Gould was not in charge of the team or anything else. He was just hanging around the for sake of a paycheck. But anyway, doesn't whatever...

If he gets permission from the club. He he gets permission from the club to leave, I'm sure there will be a race for him. As is, no race for him at all.

Do you understand what "rumours" means? Katoa isn't going anywhere until at least November 2028.

Really? None of us could guess where you were going with this. Bulldogs aren't getting him for at least another 3 years. Sorry to break it to you.

    Somehow I don't think so.

According to who? fanciful rumours in Facebook? And Penrith? That's how you know it's merely a ridiculous rumour. Of any player Penrith are in the market for, a halfback would be their last. Cleary probably has another 8~10 years in the NRL.

    Recruitment and retention

He is under contract until 2028. If any Sydney clubs have approached him, they are in violation of the rules. I think it's pretty safe to say he won't be going anywhere until 2028 unless a special halfback is in the Dolphins lower grades right now and ready to go in the NRL at a young age. And...

Plus Cronk was significantly younger when he went to the Roosters. I watched the game yesterday and DCE didn't look anything close to a 1mil a year player. He looked like someone who has one more year left max for about 500k max.

    new club updates

I think they are behind a PNG team and a second NZ team and Perth aren't done and dusted yet. I don't think a 4th SE QLD team should be for 10 years.
