    Round 25: Dolphins v Manly

We are now in the territory of needing other results to go our way. It's not bad. The number of players who the coach probably never thought would be in first grade this year are going to provide a ridiculous amount of depth next year. But this game will be a tricky one. It's well documented...

    Round 24 vs Brisbane Broncos

Personally I wouldn't say they went into their shell. The quality of the B forward pack isn't quite good enough. Without Flegler, Saifiti, Plath and Gilbert is enough but then Kaufusi and Molo suspended on top of that. Those 6 would make up the middle forward rotation if available. Keeley was...

    Round 24 vs Brisbane Broncos

Understandably just missing a bit of quality in the forwards. At least Kaufusi and Molo will be back next week. They will help. Unless Kaufusi is sent off or sin-binned at a crucial time. Good chance it'll be his last game as a Dolphin because he usually has trouble staying unsuspended for more...

    Season end prediction

If Melbourne can get their best team on the field, they are specials. Canberra-Melbourne GF, Melbourne wins by 30.

    Round 24 vs Brisbane Broncos

They were right on NRL 360. Broncos don't have an injury crisis at all. They are missing 3, one who has been in and out of the NRL this season and who they no longer wanted for next year. Compare that to our team. They should win easily. If they lose, it will be a monumental debacle.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

Which article? I saw speculation which prompted Woolf to come out and say it wasn't true and that was the last I heard of it until now.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

None after another year when he might well be thinking about retirement. If he was a few years younger, he might be a good halves partner for Katoa. Even then I'm not too sure because they both seem like halfbacks.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

Didn't Woolf already say Williams is a good player but isn't in the Dolphins plans?

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

A lot of progress! But in the end, too many injuries. And the defence isn't good enough yet to beat the best teams in big games. Even with the injuries, the defence in this game wasn't good enough for a team looking to play finals.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

Was it the Roosters second try when Hammer came in to tackle a Roosters player who was well and truly wrapped up already, leaving their winger free to stroll over? Ridiculous! But Niko was probably our worst.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

But now things have been evened up a bit in regard to injuries, expect us to handily beat the Broncos next week.

That'll do it. I've got better things to do than watch this rubbish.

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

Niko has had a bad half of football. How many passes have forced the player on the outside to stop and reach behind to catch Niko's pass?

    Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

I thought: The scuffle was initiated by the Roosters and escalated by another Rooster. Why should we have also had 2 players go to the bin? Walker hit Isaako around the chin but Roosters ball. Niko absolutely wasn't offside when he was penalised for being offside. Donga stole the ball one on...

Evens it up quite a bit. We are missing most of the pack and best centre in the competition. They are missing their two first choice halves.
