    2024 team

You can scratch big Herman from your team now. Jake Averillo will probably secure a spot above Val or Bostock. Mason Teague should secure a more regular role. It will be interesting to see what "tinkering" is done during the off season. WB doesn't sit on his hands. He'll want a competitive team...

Round 25: Dolphins vs Wests Tigers

With the massive casualty list plaguing the Dolphins, this weekend's lineup may look like this: 1 Kodi Nikorima 2 Jamayne Isaako 3 Euan Aitken ??? 4 Val Te Whare 5 Tesi Niu 6 Anthony Milford 7 Sean O'Sullivan 8 Jesse Bromwich 9 Harry Graham 10 Herman Ese’ese 11 Poasa Faamausili 12 Jarrod...

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

Yep, he isn't the answer. There is a reason why he has bounced around to five different clubs by the age of 24. An able backup but nowhere near the skill level required to hold down a #1 HB job. It's a real shame because he is a great clubman and knows the game inside out. He reminds me a bit of...

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

He keeps picking him because he is the only organiser in the squad. He has a great footy brain but just doesn't have the skill levels to implement anything. I'm doubtful that he'll be a regular next year as they will go nowhere with him steering the ship.

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

SOS is deplorable. I feel sorry for him. They need to sort out their halves situation for next year and this park footballer cannot be anywhere near the joint.

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

The Roosters have far more to play for and have a vastly superior lineup. This game won't be close.

Round 24: Dolphins vs Sydney Roosters

Josh Kerr has been especially disappointing. He's got a big lean frame but is very slow and seems a bit off the pace. He doesn't get his hands dirty enough either. Maybe Bennett can make a useful player out of him.

Round 23: Dolphins vs Newcastle Knights

The aging forward pack was always going to be an issue this year. It will be next year as well unless there are numerous "taps on the shoulder" or if enough of the younger brigade step up. They will be a better side next year but nowhere near a playoff certainty.

Round 23: Dolphins vs Newcastle Knights

He's probably more disappointed in his players rather than the ref. They continue to drop off tackles, make basic errors and continue to have a lack of situational awareness. WB hates losing as much as the next guy and his pressers occasionally portray that.

Round 23: Dolphins vs Newcastle Knights

A few passengers in this side which is commonplace for an expansion team. Hopefully these guys have a decreased role with the squad next season. Knik, Isaako, Katoa and Ese 'Ese all played well tonight. SOS and a couple of the veteran forwards are downright embarrassing.

Round 22: Dolphins vs Canterbury Bulldogs

Stone is injured. Can't remember what type though. I think he broke his wrist. Out for 6 weeks.

Round 22: Dolphins vs Canterbury Bulldogs

Minus Katoa and Stone as well. This backline has looked it's slickest when Katoa and KNik were in the halves. Kodi makes things happen with his speed. I'd rather see Milf in the 7. SOS just doesn't possess the skills required at this level IMO.

Round 15: Dolphins v Manly Sea Eagles

On holiday. We are having a blast. Ended up missing the game as we slept in. I'm glad I did.

Round 15: Dolphins v Manly Sea Eagles

Now in Cincinnati where the game will occur at a much more civil 6 AM. Hopefully I'll be awake for that. Big game here, another loss would see them fall out of the top 8. With the number of injuries and suspensions which seem to increase weekly, climbing back into playoff contention will be...

Round 14: Dolphins vs NZ Warriors

Just spent four days in San Francisco and the homeless problem here is out of control. Thankfully, we didn't meet any aggressive types but did step into their feces on a couple of occasions. Thailand and Indonesia don't hold a candle to SF. I've never seen anything like it.

Round 14: Dolphins vs NZ Warriors

I'll be in New York tomorrow night and the game will be on at 1 AM Saturday morning. I'm hoping to be still awake for it but I give no guarantees. Dolphins by 10.

Round 13: Dolphins v St George Illawarra Dragons

SOS will struggle to get a gig if that spine keeps performing. He's a great team man but is pretty limited with his skill set. But I don't look too far forward when it comes to Rugby League. As we know, things can change in an instant. Injuries, suspension, poor form could mean that he is rushed...
