Plath and Bostock. Kerr is 28 or 29 this year, isn't he? I didn't say it's been an easy draw. Just said some thing things have fallen our way. Unless you don't think Tom Trbojevic going of with 30 min left isn't a big deal for Manly. But there are no easy games. Next Sunday vs Tigers will be...

Exactly. A few of our blokes of ours are killing it present but we've had a pretty lucky draw so far. Against Manly they lost Tom Turbo, were lucky against Cowboys second time around even though their form has fallen off a cliff since they flogged us in the first round. Broncos flogged us...

But both are probably still smaller than the junior base we have.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

Obviously got plenty of depth in the backs. Tessi is too good to play QLD Cup. Ditto Averillo but both are much better centres than wingers.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

The ref and video ref kept them in the game but in the end the better team won.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

Another game changing bad decision. What an embarrassment to RL. Can’t wait for the apology from the RL bosses.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

They don't make it easy to watch.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

On another note, Isaako's goalkicking is getting steadily worse.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

It's a hard one. Still have one half left. I'll decide after fulltime.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

Manly seem to have the wood on us.
  12. Equaliser

    Recruitment and retention

Yep. Probably will in about 8 years. For now, he's much better as a backrower.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

Dolphins by 4 First try: Fuller MoM: Katoa

On current form I thought the two first choice backrowers for next year will be Aitken and Finefeuiaki. Kafusi transitioning to a middle forward for his last year which also helps cover our lack of depth in that position.

    Recruitment and retention

Have 10% of the salary cap tied up in two backrowers and a lock with no room for one of our best so far this year, Plath. Not a great idea.

Round 10: Dolphins vs Manly Sea Eagles

Small but also slower. But I get where your coming from. Connie can maintain a similar level of output for 80min, Val can't.

Round 9: North QLD Cowboys vs Dolphins

There's a theory for not rushing players back, giving this to Manly, or at least forcing them to take it from a second string team so we are better prepared for bigger games later in the year. Already News Ltd is talking about us as premiership smokeys.
  18. Equaliser

    Recruitment and retention

I think Dolphins are an attractive option for a number of reasons including WB, not because of WB.

Round 9: North QLD Cowboys vs Dolphins

Bostock to centre is an option.
