I think they look fit but they are a rabble. Is Kurt D playing lock? FFS, play him at 5/8 or fullback and move Hammer.
  3. Equaliser

    Round 1 vs South Sydney.

Strange that. I don't think we can or should blame Woolf for it.

NRL has offered to put them up in hotels. But I understand if some want to stay behind and try to prevent major damage to their houses.

    Recruitment and retention

Don't think so. Unless the team is traveling unbelievably well, I think Kodi will spend some time in other positions.
  6. Equaliser

    Round 1 vs South Sydney.

Right about what? Not sure about this team. I know Plath and Gilbert have to be in the 17 but I thought Plath on the bench to give JMK a rest and then stay on as a middle forward.

    Injury and suspension updates

    Not good news.

I agree. Good player and I think Woolf will call upon him sooner rather than later. He will get his chance.

VC. Because isn't on for the full 80 min. Will be gone during the rep season. Also plays hard in the middle. Last 2 big injuries could happen to anyone but expect him to miss some games every season due to niggling injuries.

What is your relationship with him? Related? I think he goes ok. Obviously he goes ok but O mean for a top 30 player in an NRL club he goes ok. Just as long as he isn't playing hooker. That's not his game.

Hammer will get first chance and wouldn't surprise me if Averillo is next.

As for the Roosters, it was astonishing Braith Asasta, former Roosters player and current play manager, said on live TV, "there is an understanding that if you sign with them (the Roosters) the board there will set you up for life after football." That would most definitely be cheating the cap.

DOLPHINS First-choice: Isaiya Katoa, Kodi Nikorima Back-up: Sean O’Sullivan, Jake Averillo, Kurt Donoghoe, John Fineanganofo* Analysis: Katoa is a brilliant young player who seems destined to become one of the NRL’s premier halves, with plenty of development still in him with his 22nd birthday...

Bulldogs in some trouble. With salary cap and with team judging by the Brisbane game. Looked unfit, slow, lacking creativity. Did they have someone who is going to come into that team and turn it around? Or maybe the Broncos are just going to be that good this year.

RECRUIT WATCH The Dolphins lacked energy in midfield and their collective performance was compounded by the early loss of Saifiti. Signed from the Knights to replace Jesse Browmich, the NSW Origin prop managed just two hit-ups before limping from the field. New teammate Kulikefu Finefeuiaki...
  19. Equaliser

    Injury and suspension updates

That's not good at all considering round 1 hasn't even started.

TBH, Bostock looks like he might have lost a bit of weight. Anyway, it's good to have depth. If he isn't playing well, he'll be dropped. Simple as that.
