I think privatized rail often leads to cheaper tickets. Because suddenly the rail company profits are not being used to pay for welfare or build a half dozen new tanks to get smoked in Ukraine and etc.
This looks way, way less optimistic than Flegler himself was.
Thomas Flegler - Shoulder
Flegler remains on the long road back from a shoulder injury. Flegler is hopeful of making his return during the 2026 season.
Signing Knowles has been a mystery around here for a while. No doubt he's a good player but he is supposed to be a good lock. That is to go with:
Donoghue
Plath
Gilbert
Stone
I'm looking forward to seeing what Woolf has planned but I noticed on the Dolphins webpage Gilbert is listed as a prop.
Selwyn looks in quite good shape. At least better than he was for most or all of last season but looks like he could still lose another kg around the mid-section.
Who is that next to him?
Well did he mention what position he's going to play? You are saying Fuller is going to start at fullback so if Avrillo going to force Herbie or Hammer out of the team?
This is the team Fox Sports is nominating at this stage. I think it's wrong. Plath and the team struggled when he was in the backrow but improved dramatically when he was moved to lock.
DOLPHINS
Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
Jamayne Isaako
Jake Averillo
Herbie Farnworth
Selwyn Cobbo
Kodi Nikorima...
After the Jack De Belin farce, I think the bans would have stood up in court. It would have had to go to a higher court which would have taken years and which would have cost the players suing truck loads of money.
I think Warriors are also not concerned with poaching talent from QLD at all. They are only concerned with keeping as much local talent as possible. I saw an article in the Courier Mail the other day demonstrating how league is growing extremely rapidly at the expense of union in NZ.
