I'd add he also put together a well balanced squad. Fast backs, skillful backs, ball playing halves, big forwards, smaller forwards who do a lot of work, aggressive forwards (though Kaufusi sometimes takes it a bit far) .
Bulldogs must be having cap issues anyway. They signed several players on overs even before Galvin. Though Galvin might turn out to be very good. Just as a 5/8, not a haflback.
