No clubs showed interest in him to the stage of making an offer. And anything less than that is nothing or everything depending on how one interprets it. You obviously think it's everything. The club and Katoa himself seem to think it's nothing.
I mean, some of his criticism has been true. And it was a good win last night but let's not hand them premiership rings just yet. In the early part of the season, a number of forwards were playing like they should have given the game away a year earlier. At the time it looked to me like Woolf...
He's ok. He supports the Dolphins, just not in relation to anything to do with the Bullgrubs. Dolphins are a distant second. For the most part, his posts are insightful but he owes an apology to Woolf. Has to admit he got it way wrong.
At least we will bwe able to say, "the Dolphins were beating Melbourne." But to be serious, after 6 min, they are going quite well. Melbourne have already put a try or two on most teams by this stage.
Gould's passive-aggressive pursuit of Galvin I think shows more than anything else, the rumours about him breaking the rules to try and poach Katoa were always total BS.
It was a different era then. I think the whole Israel Folau situation with the Origin team signaled changed views on the issue. I don't like it and think the Tigers are doing the right thing with Galvin. Why should they put time and resources into a player who won't be there soon? A young player...
I find a lots of Matts comments insightful but the way so many of his commrnts get back to Gus Gould like he's some kind of RL messiah....... I can't agree with.
