Congrats to Hammer but I think he was a bit lucky. Played out of his skin in the first half of the season and went missing together with the rest in the second half.

TBH, I have no idea at all how and why a couple of those along with Hammer were selected in front of Ponga.

Didnt' he remove himself from selection for all rep games this year when he pulled from origin>?

Removed himself from Origin due to just coming back from repeated concussions. Was available for selection and should have been the first picked. If it were picked on form.

Pretty good team. Imagine how many Penrith players would be in the team if not for injury and native Pacific islanders born and raised in Australia choosing to represent those Pacific islands.

Pretty good team but mal still moaning about two tier system. It's good players with island heritage are playing for the islands. Should inspire a new generation.

Agree. Australia have more than enough depth.

Maybe Hammer will be better in the centres after all. That was a a sensational try!

3. HAMISO TABUAI-FIDOW - 9.5

Impressive test debut. Showed the turn of foot of an Everest-winner when scoring his first try from deep inside Australia’s end, making something out of nothing. “That is a side of sensational,” Andrew Voss said on Fox League. Crossed from short range to score his second try, which broke a second half stalemate. Laid a bone-crunching hit on Brian To’o late in the game.

Hammer had a great game. Cobbo was awful and if I'm being really critical I think teddy is past it. Staggs was pretty solid.

That Samoa full back needs signing asap.

He's already signed with Melbourne. Recently extended.

Hammer was good last game. Atrocious today. He might be lucky to get 5. Hardly sighted. Isaako on the other hand had one of those seasons which started good and continued to get better. Finally over now but hope he picks up where he left off next season.
