There is the rule where it's inconclusive so the refs call remains but the challenge isn't lost. Probably fair for both their challenge and ours.

But it was conclusive it wasn't a trip. The penalty was a trip the call of trip was challenged so the challenge should be kept. Any other penalty picked up shouldnt impact the keeping of the challenge
