No. He's very far from it. With a good #9 Broncos would be a very serious premiership threat. As is, can't see them troubling Penrith, Melbourne or Souths at the business end of the season.

  1. Kodi Nikorima 5 As expected. Wasn't good or bad.
  2. Jamayne Isaako 5 His quietest game in a long time.
  3. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 5 Prefer him at fullback.
  4. Valynce Te Whare 5 Keep him in first grade.
  5. Tesi Niu 4 Now I see why he was dropped.
  6. Isaiya Katoa 5 Milf back next week.
  7. Sean O’Sullivan 5 I think the team is better with Katoa at 7
  8. Jesse Bromwich 4 Another disappointing game.
  9. Jeremy Marshall-King 7 Probably our best but injured again, probably out for the season. We might not win another game.
  10. Connelly Lemuelu 6 Shouldn't have been demoted to the bench.
  11. Felise Kaufusi N/A Injured early.
  12. Kenny Bromwich 5 Quiet.
  13. Ray Stone 6 tackled well.

  14. Josh Kerr 4 He played but hardly noticed.
  15. Mark Nicholls 6 Did his job.
  16. Herman Ese’ese 7 Best of the props.
  17. Euan Aitken 6 Thought he was good.

Billy is easily in the top 3 Walters to play for the Broncos, and top 4 in his family.

We have been hit hard with injuries and suspensions, but overall the team has definitely flatlined from their pure competitiveness and energy in the 1st half of season. Was always gonna happen to some extent.

Wayne definitely deserves the accolades he got before our recent run of poor form, but the real test now is what he can do with a somewhat physically and mentally broken squad. 4 weeks ago we were firm favourites to make the finals, so that really should be the goal still now, but not sure if we can?

Draw is Penrith, bye, Bulldogs, Knights, Roosters, Wests, Cowboys, Warriors. Have to think if he ralliues the team together we should be able to win 4 of those games. We are still only 2 points behind 8th place, but our F/A is pretty bad. I still have hope, but if JMK is out it's gonna be extremely hard.

I don't mind them giving me a hard time. They are very passionate and not happy at all about us poaching Herbie. I wonder if their premiership window is going to close before it even really opened. That much touted backrower, Piakura is very overrated. Reynolds doesn't have much longer. Cobbo played well last night but has weight problems which will only get worse.

Then again, we have our own problems with the Bromwich brothers. They hardly even bend the defensive line these days. Wallace and Nicholls are in their 30s and I think Ese'ese is as well. And Benny obviously isn't satisfied with Milf at 5/8 given the way he went so hard for (overrated) Wighton.

If JMK is out for the season or most of the season, I don't give us a chance of making the finals.

I tend to agree, but am trying to be pessimistic lol. I don't know how we got in a position where we literally don't have a single backup specialist hooker in our entire squad.

Stone and Teague are like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman - they can pretend and act like they are, but they definitely aren't hookers.

We have a specialist backup hooker. It's just he isn't any good.

Have 2. Max Plath and Harrison Graham. The latter was supposed to be the main backup or even push JMK for the first choice hooker but that's not going to happen. He's as slow as a wet week. I think Plath is ok but probably needs a little more time in QLD Cup. Like Bostock. Might come good next year but not this year.

Kodi: best bench utility/hooker Broncos have had since Berrigan. Shit fullback though. No better than Isaako, Milford or Niu.
