Round 17: Dolphins vs Parramatta Eels

The defence, or lack of, in the first half was all about attitude. When was the last time someone ran through a Kafusi like that Parra backrower for I think their 3rd try?
I think he's a bit hesitant as it appears all he needs to do is breathe and he gets a month ban

I'm concerned about both the Bromwich brothers. They have noticeably lost half a step and a bit of strength. Any good props we can poach from the ESL?

Not much younger but josh McGuire just been released by wolves. Habit this year of using naughty words been banned twice

Mikolaj Oledzki is a good shout only mid 20s plays at Leeds gota handful of England caps.

Matty lees at saints is highly rated (I don't see it) however for a prop he's small. Just looked it up 1.88 and 100kg

Josh McGuire was pretty good about 6 years ago. Now all he is good at is talking a lot.

Luke Thompson is smallish for a prop but a gun when he isn't injured or suspended.

Imagine Flegler, Kafusi and McGuire in the same team - there's at ;east 6 penalties a game + 2 weeks suspension.
Flegler will come good as far as suspensions go. Too late for Kafusi and it was too late a decade ago for McGuire.

I dunno. There are certain players, who despite what they do, always seem to attract penalties. Flegler seems one of these. Their size and image seems to be a magnet for penalties despite their actions. I can only put it down to unconscious bias by the refs. Then there are other players who do far worse, but their size and standing in the game they never get penalised accordingly.

He gets targeted for sure but he's much less a loose cannon than people like Radley, TPJ and even Kafusi. I know Kafusi has really been hammered by the MRC this year but his reputation was deserved after some of the things he did while playing for Melbourne.

Actually very true. Just checked and he's only the 113th most penalised player @ 0.36 penalties per game. Surprisingly Murray from Souths is top out of all the semi-regular first graders with 1.39 per game. Flegler's reputation certainly supercedes him, at least this year.
