Dragons were robbed against the second placed Warriors. That is a good reminder no games are easy in this competition.

I guess for us, to be in the position we are in after the hard games against good teams over the last few weeks and in light of Origin selections and Katoa's injury, we have done pretty well. Should be all easier games coming up bar the Roosters game in the second last round. If we had lost the game to the Sharks by only 16-6 or something like that, we'd probably be talking about how well Woolf has done after his early season blunders.

So bye this week then game against the wooden spoon certainties the following week. Then against 13th placed Broncos and then Manly without Tom Turbo. It's a good run coming up which should see us in the top 4. Hopefully anyway. But I can't escape the feeling of imminent collapse after that Cronulla game.....

That penatly they kicked the 2 from was a shocker. The forwards pass i'm not worried about you see them all the time and all teams both lose out and benefit during the season.

The ref had to be corrected by gutho, then the bunker, because he was the worst ref I have ever seen.

The gane was a joke and so lopsided, to thr pount he should be labelled never to ref first grade again.

Id hate to get him in a finals game against the warriors

The try they scored which was overruled by the bunker and told top go back and play the ball was a shocker. It was so close, I thought the attacking team was supposed to get the benefit of the doubt and the refs call was supposed to be ruled unless there is conclusive evidence to the contrary. I thought between those 2 rules, it should've been awarded a try. A number of other 50-50 calls as well.

I also watched the Titans - Manly game. After the Titans coach came out and gave the refs a serve, the rulings in that game seemed very fair. No preference for Manly. They got one contentious try from the offside but probably missed another but when it looked like the Manly wingers foot stayed a mm away from the line but the touch judges flag went up anyway.

In the last week, the Dragons coach and CEO have come out and blasted the refs so we should not expect any favours from them in this game.

They have a number of very good young forwards. And Kyle Flanagan at halfback who must be the worst player to play 100 games ever and old Clint Gutherson whose best days were about 5 years ago.
