Round 19 vs Cronulla Sharks @ Kayo

Every player cares what they are paid, and when they tell you its not for the money, its for the money.

no way williams nor kodi are on 800k and i would say leota would be way cheaper than dan i wouldnt think kodi or george or sone would get higher than two years

he turned down warriors n two other clubs warriors where he was on higher an 2 Sydney clubs so i think if he was getting money he be fine some people want play footy and not just about the money
He might, or probably would stay for less but when it gets to over 10% less, probably won't stay. Ditto Herbie.

The fact Herbie will be around longer makes him more likely to stay for less. The fact this will be Kodi's last contract means it's doubtful he'll stay for less.

u be surprised as for herbie with cap going up we could give him 2mil and no way chocks are doing that as they want walker

mr_c mr_c, this is another of those one's like Katoa vs SOS, the superstar Kyle Flanagan and clubs able to get rid of a player early and not pay any of his salary to play elsewhere. Whether in the NRL, ESL or QLD Cup.

Kodi will accept small unders at best. Being his last contract, even that becomes unlikely.

I'm scared to take him off ignore to see what he has said. It might make me up my medicinal Marijuana dosage.
He's okay. He just gets an idea in his head and won't budge from it no matter what. And he hates 2 257Matt with a passion for some reason.

He's saying Kodi won't really care (he said not care at all) about the money and that is a hill mr_c mr_c will die on. But all in all, I like his comments. Everyone makes mistakes. Woolf made a mistake signing George Williams. Or so it seems right now but you never know. Maybe next year will have playmaking/ball-playing coming out of the you know where with Katoa half and Williams 5/8 allowing our fast outside backs to run riot.

100%, the WIlliams call could turn out to be right, Kodi may drop off a cliff next year.

In reality, we are all just guessing, and hindsight is great as an armchair coach like myself.

The only issue is armchair coaches is when they fail to acknowledge they were wrong.

The other thing, resigning Herbie. We cant resign him at all cost. If he is asking too much as a centre, and it screws our cap long term, we might have to pivot. He is the best centre in the comp, granted. And I want to keep him, but with my brain kicking in, we cant hamstring ourselves on that hill.

if livebird wants see what i post let him unblock me hes only blocked me because he hates been challenged or told hes wrong funny that
why is it that you guys can get it wrong like we said just let woolf do his job instead you guys wanted his head to roll early in season

i say it as i see it because you guys have time after time showed that you guys got no clue and gary even said it

no matter what we said would we did we got shit shoved at us ( but wait we just got sit back n let us get abuse hurled at us because you guys no better

like the williams situation just leave him n the club to sort that out if he thinks both can be in the team he will know how best out them in there( look at hisrecord over the last two seasons and only going get more exciting

quiet frankly you guys proven you know sweet f all and that be way it contues to be

Nikorima like all players are looking for the best pay day. If Dolphins don't come near what England and others are offering he's gone.

Everyone bar one person knows that Donoghoe will be one of the first chosen in the 17 every week Woolf has said this many times and his performances justify it as well. Once Daley is rightfully sent packing as coach after tonight a player like Donoghoe will end up being right in the frame for NSW selection in 2027.

Nikorima was once a utility player he's now evolved into a specialist 5/8 as he's got older and wiser. There's no way a bench of 4 will carry Nikorima and Donoghoe assuming Plath is back at lock after next week and beyond. The way Donoghoe plays negates Nikorima being 14-17 as he's more versitile and flexible. 18-19 are token positions and only twice has Woolf varied away from his preferred 17 all season one for Katoa injury and last week he opted for Fineanganofo over Pouniu.

If Nikorima does re-sign and I think highly unlikely now it'll be him or Williams in the "default" 17 because Plath and Donoghoe negate the need or want for both.

Yeah but you really think they going be wanting. Big money. At the age george and him plenty of players take payouts at that age dont no many that would be on huge money in late 30s bar super stars
