Round 18: Dolphins vs Newcastle Knights

They were the better team and deserved to win but that last penalty for the kicking off not going 10m was astonishing!

you'd think that they could put 2 extra cameras on the 10 m lines. or using the seats and the line put up a virtual barrier.

How high up would the coverage be? I mean from it'd have to be from X meters to the ground and to cover a a lot of metres, it'd have to be far up in the stands. Just need refs and touch judges not to cheat. I wonder if that clown also has a gambling problem.

I can't nominate 3-2-1 but I can say the entire spine struggled. Not sure what was going on. Was it a lack of go-forward? In the first half, I'd say the forwards struggled but the spine also struggled in the second half when our forwards were clearly on top.

On the bright side, I think the coach will have a clear indication of what went wrong and how to fix it for next week. As much as Newcastle are a problem for us, we are a problem for the Sharks.

Today was always going to be a struggle. In the end, they gave it a good shake in very poor weather conditions, but Newcastle were slightly the better side. Seven regulars missing was always going to be difficult to overcome. None bigger than Katoa. Hopefully, the Dolphins can stay afloat until his return. Cronulla at Kayo next week, possibly without the rep players if they are rested again. The Sharks were dreadful last night. Hopefully that continues.

Were Cronulla bad? I didn't see the game but kept track of the score. With about 20 to go they were well ahead and looked like they might run away with it. I guess Broncos got a couple of late tries to make the score respectable.

Cronulla were awful. Ill disciplined, error riddled and totally disorganised. But "awful" is good enough to defeat this banged up Bronco side who are probably the worst team in the comp atm.

Finished the replay. Lucky to only be behind by 12 in the first half.
