he needs scans which hasnt hadGilbert Injury
Out indefinitely doesn't sound good for him.
Was looking forward to an injury free season from him. He actually was coming along very well.
How many weeks if there is no fracture?Katoa dislocated wrist. Put back in.
If its not a bad one and no fracture. We may have dodged a massive bullet
Depends on the ligament damage. Every dislocation generally comes with ligament dmg, due to the stretching of the joint. 8 weeks for less cases. How many weeks if there is no fracture?
3 months would be a disaster.Depends on the ligament damage. Every dislocation generally comes with ligament dmg, due to the stretching of the joint. 8 weeks for less cases.
Wrist dislocation in League, that is bad could require beyond 3 months I reckon.
I'm hoping its not too bad, be didn't look bad for a dislocation. In my head I'm thinking 6 to 8. Rather then a bad.
It will be at least 6-8 weeks (probably longer). It is very concerning. Brad Schneider is not the man to be guiding this team during the stretch drive. He is a backup 6/7/9 earning the league minimum. He gives everything he has, but he isn't first grade material.3 months would be a disaster.
If it was Kodi, Averillo would be a no-brainer for 5/8 but Kodi is playing so well at 5/8, I wouldn't want to move him and I don't think Averillo can play halfback. So unfortunately, at the least for a few weeks, I think it has to be Schneider. It will be at least 6-8 weeks (probably longer). It is very concerning. Jake Averillo is an option in the halves and probably a better option. He is playing Q Cup today and will likely feature somewhere during the next two games as Woolf is likely to rest his rep players v Cronulla. He is far too good to be rotting in reserve grade.
Losing our gun HB long term as we head towards our maiden post season appearance is the worst thing that could've happened. It could be season defining.

There really isn't a big difference between the 6 and 7 these days. They both have similar roles. But, Woolf will stick with Schneider for the time being, but I'm sure he has his concerns as he sees the same things we do. But, he has options in Averillo or Donga if it's not working out. Katoa's absence will bite, though. How hard? Kodi to 7 Averillo to 6. That's what i would do if I were coach. Averillo is a great running half, not ball playing and organsingThere really isn't a big difference between the 6 and 7 these days. In general fractures are much quicker return than dislocations. I did my ankle once and the doctor said if id broken it would be nearly half the time off.Round 17 Press conference
Just watched this now. Woolf didn't sound too sure. Also noted they said it might have been still out of place. Not what they said during the game.
Touch and go Id say. Bad wrist dislocations can be months.
