Cobbo is playing well. No doubt. Lemuelu is as well but I think has gone downhill a bit.

However, apart from Cobbo (I thought he was good to start with in an out of form team), the first 5/6 games of the season were outrageously bad. Criticism deserved there.

So happy to give him heaps of credit for the recent form. And if it turns out to be all part of the major plan, I will be calling for the life time contract myself. However, we have missed out in the past when starting the season poorly, so I think he got deserved criticism after round 6/7 with this roster.

Happy to give him credit now.

As an aside. One of the things I like about Woolf is that he does show similarities with Bennett in relation to getting people up on a personal level, and translating that to form on the field. He did it with Molo, and I suspected he could do that with Cobbo. And that has come to fruition. The worry I do have is his input into to cap management and recruitment, and the juggling of that going forward. In my opinion, and its just an opinion there seem to be a few bizarre choices which have been highlighted. However, I'm not an expert and I'm happy to see what the grand plan is. Because it could all turn out fine.

The cap space would be managed by a group of people not just Woolf, the early form I believe was players getting adjusted to new systems and the interpretation of the rules , except for the manly game that came down to attitude.

He was killing it under Wayne. Not saying he's been bad. Maybe downhill was the wrong way to say it but not getting better than he was under Wayne.

Agreed, not just Woolf. But youd have to say he had and has a big say especially with guys from england and his old club?
 
I've Pointed it out before that players that come here either get better or they get punted. All those desperate signings are all gone and we are left with a very respectable and economical roster. Junior Tupou comes to mind. He was gone after what 5 games? Pangai junior was only here a year, meanwhile molo was picked up and is well and truly contributing to winning.

Also on cobbo I cannot believe how well he is playing. I had high hopes but struth he is incredible. Someone else pointed out after his 90m double fend try against the cowboys that he wasn't even puffed when he put the ball down. Also some people might not have noticed but he nearly knocked the ball out if Teddy's hand in the final origin try. He must be so damn fit right now.

For sure he recommends them and the deals get done but $ wise there would be others who control that side that’s why Knowles and Williams deals won’t be killing us cap wise, as the club wouldn’t gamble with that because it can ruin you for years. Hence offers to kodi are under what he wants $ wise and years same with Jake tigers are paying more than what we offered.

come back when you show un disrespectful comments from people in here about me , or my opinions never made personal attacks on peoples health or spelling and had twisted others words , ( which has been done to me ) never put personal details up about other which people have about me funny that eh

I have no idea on the status of your "health". I have commented on your grammar because it is horrendous. But, you are knowledgeable about the sport and I enjoy reading your viewpoints.

But, most of your posts are critical about other contributors over petty things. You also claim to be "Mr. Scoop". You also claim to have done things which are obviously untrue.

In the future, just be yourself and don't worry about what others think. We are basically all strangers who will never meet. I hope you are feeling better soon.

IMO Lemuelu was outstanding in 2023, regressed in 2024, got a bit better in 2025, started really slow this year and is now owning that left edge spot surpassing what he done in 2023 and parts of 2025.
