Seems like a big gamble for the Roosters. To have 2 highly paid centres.

Can't keep them all though the loss of Herbie would be a big loss.

I dont think Herbie is a gamble though. Strike centre would does the hard work coming out of your own half. Seems great for a dressroom as well not much trouble.

Its a safe bet really.

We have to look forward to Katoa next contract, he is the one we need to build around. Id be having Herbie next on that list.

$1M is not that much for Herbie. Espeically when PNG's tax free scam will skew the cap which is also rising at the end of next season. Loads of players with ratchet clauses will be on over $1m
