Sam Kerr was on a 2mil a year contract at Chelsea from memory. Mary Fowler is at a similar level. Cleary could stop tomorrow with a mrs who earns probably double what he does.

I gathered that. I can see you replied to him, not what he has written.

I was guessing what he wrote.

The reality is for Cleary, he is playing for legacy now, he is in a sporting power couple. Whilst League players need to be careful with money, because its a short career, and a mil a year over about 7 years is nothing spread to a lifetime. When you couple that with Fowlers salary, they will be fine if they have the right people advising them.

Suggesting he is only going over if there is playing opportunities is short sighted. He could, take a year or 2 off, come back, do commentary, and be fine.

In the end, the pressing need for a family or love will decide his fate. Not the want to play league in england or soccer if youre mr.c.

Just on League and Soccer.

Having been involved in "soccer" (football) Id find it hard to think a league player, with their body shape, and fitness profile making it in football.

They would need an enormous skill level that they arent practicing every day. I look at the goal kickers in the league. And Cleary has a fabulous technique for kicking a league ball over the posts. Technique to kick a football whilst striking on goal, passing during different phases of play, and striking the ball at different positions relative to body position is a different story.

A great example is Meaney. Watch his goalkicking. The guy is so complex. Now if you watch his goakicking over time. He has become less complex. I bet my life, that he is being told that his complex run up to lock and load and release, is effecting his accuracy. As someone that teaches technique, id tell him stop fucking dancing, make your approach simple and repeatable, and your addressing of the ball will be more consistent, and your success rate will improve. That wouldnt working in the round ball game at all.

These NRL goal kickers and their technique would need overhauling going into the round ball game. So looking at Cleary, his whole muscle memory sport brain would need overhauling.

So she's going to the UK and he's going to play in the ESL? Makes sense.
 
if he does go to uk , you can beat nrl will defiantly take super league over as there be no way they be wanting him to exit early n you can bet he be still able to get in kangaroos

big time ones yes but shes on 600k aus plus rep $ plus the 10 mil addias deal she has( that deals over 5 years)

That article was back 3 years ago. Fowler would be up there now. She is also now the highest earning Australian footballer. So lets just say Cleary has no worries.

Womens US soccer might be just as good from memory. I dont know though.
