the defence part is a whole team issue we cant just rely on 1 to 7 to attack when got no ball

Hence, why im confused as to why we persist with Plath at 9, no proper 9 on the bench.

Especially with the new rules surrounding the bench, you no longer need a utility, there is almost enough remove for a specialist.

From the outside looking in i get the impression Woolf hasn't figured out how to use the new bench rules effectively yet.

I am also not an expert, so i could be wrong

Schneider can't tackle well enough but at this point I'duse him for 50-60min regardless. If he is better passing from dummy half. He should be.

You would hope so, he’s played half back I haven’t really seen enough out of him so far with ball in hand. Until JMK comes back Kodi would be my call but everyone opinion doesn’t matter it’s KW call that counts

Plenty of Dolphin fans on the plane over. Even a couple of Penrith supporters. It is stinking hot, though. I couldn't imagine playing in these conditions. It will be a factor. I remember Parramatta melting in this heat two years ago. The Dolphins promptly scored 8 tries in 25 mins. A little of the same tomorrow would be nice.

Kodi has the same problem as Schnider playing at hooker; his defence. But I'd like to see him play hooker for the time being as well due:

• His defence isn't worse than Schnider.
• His attack is better.
• I'd like to see Averillo get a few games in a row at 5/8.

Main problem as I see it with the last of those, it's getting a bit late to experiment now. No easy games in the NRL but we will be solid outsiders in the next 5 games at least. Canberra is after that and then finally we'll probably start favourites against NQ.
