Lol so tell me who be doing 12 plus tackles from backs this week. N next. Herbie n Jake n max was tge other go have look it will show you to miss tackles you got to attempt to make them
I never once said Feagai was the only one who had a shocker. Most of the team had shockers. But Feagai and Isaako were on another level. But Issako has runs on the board where Feagai doesn't. Coach clearly thinks so as well. Feagai not only dropped but punted from the extended reserves as well.

and again never said you did but pretty hard to blame one guy who actually made tackles compared to 3 who didn't

pretty obvious why hes not on extended bench ( trai be on extended bench next week when herbie comes back ) hardly stick a back in reserves unless injury cover ( has nothing to do with poor game or coach thinking that )

Ok. Enough arguing about this. I never blamed one guy but Feagai and Isaako were especially bad. IMO Isaako has runs on the board Feagai doesn't. Coach clearly agrees.

Early Mail: Dolphins superstar centre Herbie Farnworth is reportedly nearing a return from a hamstring injury earlier than expected. According to the AAP’s Joel Gould, the Dolphins hope Farnworth will play against the Raiders next week in what is the final game of the regular season. Gould reports that Farnworth was sprinting and changing direction at top speed at training. To make the finals, the Dolphins need to win their final two games and hope the Roosters drop at least one of their last two.

Doubt it will do us much good. Melbourne resting a few this week and next week Roosters play Souths.....

Melbourne would rather Roosters in the finals than us. I guess it's flattering though I wonder if Bellamy and the brains trust there have watched our last month of football. Worst team in the competition over the last month.

With the way Dolphins have crashed in the last 3 weeks they wouldn't beat the team Penrith are fielding tonight.

3 years in a row the season has crashed out the others were a bit longer this one has come with 5 rounds to go.

Have had excuses. First year we overachieved in the first half of the season but came crashing back down in the second. Last year it was a combination of overachieving and injuries to key players. This year it was 100% injuries to key players. Still, even at 2/3 strength we thrashed the Dogs. Next year we will annihilate them.

It's just that a team like Melbourne doesn't give a F about us or the Roosters.

I thought Bulldogs were good against Penriths reserve grade team. Is this is their premiership window, better close it for a long winter.

Yep, injuries have killed us this year. Imagine this team even with the inclusions of Plath and Herbie. It's a 50% better squad. Offensively, this team reminds me of the Bronco juggernaut of the 90's. That team could score at will and were a threat all over the park. The Dolphins are headed in that direction. We've already been shown samples of that. But, atm, this club cannot sustain the number of long term injuries that has occurred and be competitive at the same time. They've faltered down the stretch strictly because of injuries. Nothing else.

Attack yes but have to get defence in order for the big games against peer opposition like Melboune and I think Penrith might recover again next year. Canberra have a young team though it remains to be seen what losing Fogerty, one of the best kickers in the comp, will do to them. Other than that, I can't see any team threatening us. Cowboys and Titans have very strong squads. If their coaches can get the best out of them. Or like us, get their defence sorted out. As for Broncos, maybe but with key players AJ in particular and Hunt a year older..... They don't have a decent hooker either. Mozar who they placed their hopes looks to have been dramaically overrated.

Hello Matt good to see you have awoken from your 3 week coma, your teams been getting walloped while you were asleep. The Dolphins have crashed in the last few weeks with the injury toll catching up with them that’s the only reason. We still put 40 on you guys with half a team missing. We would have put that riff rabble to bed easily, so let’s not throw rocks just yet because a full strength riff will put plenty on you guys.

Good luck to the Dogs. They are going to need it. Out of the likely top 8, them and Cronulla stand out as the 2 somewhat worse than the rest. Tenacious defence can often get a team home early in the season but at the business end, teams need way more in attack.
