As with last year i've been forecasting an end of season run out. two options left is runout green win red loss. top three left is best i can see bottom is the worst i can see. then the two finish tables on the right. Broncos and Manly i think can go either way Titans and Raiders are pretty set. I see the Roosters winning 2 and losing 2 which leaves them on 30. If we can win 1 of the Broncos and Manly games we should finish tied on 30 with the roosters then its down to maths.

Sorry to say this lads but if you are inclined to put money on the season with the injuries we have id say we miss the 8.

Roosters have pretty much just fucked us. id say there is probably a less than 20% chance of making the 8

It depends on how tomorrow night goes. A loss will certainly spell the end, but a victory gives us a hell of a chance. I'm confident (somewhat) about this game. I don't rate the Broncos at all and a loss for them will probably see them continue their free fall out of playoff contention. But, reality says that an injury and suspension ravaged team who got annihilated last week is probably in a bit of strife.

Its Penrith v Melbourne final. Everyone else is making up the numbers.

Gus fucked the Bulldogs, they look like a bottom of the 8 team now. Warriors without Metcalf aren't in it, and Canberra are a very solid team and are probably just under the top two.

The Roosters are coming into form. And a probably the 4th choice.

Everyone else after that are very close and just making up the numbers.

We have improved; too many injures to make a run for the 8 I reckon. However, next year we are going to be a force. Having said that, as a supporter I still maintain hope.

Judging from the game on Thursday, Melbourne will flog Penrith if they have their gun fullback, Dally M halfback and Origin centre fit. But if Penrith make it, who knows what will happen. I think Melbourne-Roosters GF.

If Melbourne can get their best team on the field, they are specials. Canberra-Melbourne GF, Melbourne wins by 30.

6 might be an issue for us. Neither Niko or Averillo are natural 6s. But Wishart would be the same.
IMO Wishart is another one of those jack of all trades, master of none.

Is it too early to write us off for the finals? Need to win the 3 remaining games to start with. There are no easy games in the NRL but Manly this week and then Gold Coast are 2 of the easier games. Then Canberra in the last round. Will they be playing for the minor premiership, already have it wrapped up or have no better than second wrapped up and as a result, rest a few players?

Then need Broncos to lose 2 of their last 3. They will flog Newcastle this weekend but then Cowboys will be a big game. No doubt at all Cowboys would like to ruin for the Broncos. Then they have Melbourne. Unless Melbourne are in a similar situation to that outlined for Canberra above and as a result, rest some players, I'd give Broncos no chance.

I reckon we win the next 3 and end on 32 points.

Wondering if that will be enough
It depends if Melbourne rest for the Broncos game. if they say we can't get the minor but will go for a deep finals run and rest the broncos could win that will end them on 34 and us in 9th. Its a shit situation but again after last year what should have been a playoff year will come down to maths on the final game of the season for no other reason than points were thrown away early in the year on bad results and giving up on games when ahead

Bellamy would love to be the reason he bundles out the Broncos. I don't think he's ever forgiven the Broncos than since Wayne Bennett blasted Melbourne when he was coach. But then again, after the thrashing we gave Melbourne earlier in the year, I think he'd prefer Broncos make the 8.
