If you're talking about Gilbert, I'm not so sure. We have 3 fighting for that position. And the injury prone one in that 3 way battle is Gilbert. He needs a big year next year, and he is good enough to do it. However, if he has time off once again, he won't be a Dolphin much long after that.

I am not as confident as you.
I don't mean to criticise him at all but I just think he isn't a really good fit in our team with the unexpected rise of Plath last year and unexpected rise of Donoghue this year.

I hope Dolphins make a play for Haas if anything force Broncos to outlay 1.3 plus.
Dolphins absolutely will not make a play for Haas unless he's willing to come to us for about half what he could get elsewhere. We have Flegler, Saifiti, Molo and a couple of highly talented young props.

players don't get in , just because they flavor of the month with fans, as like last 3 seasons theres been a player step up every year , and be no different in years to come , who knows what next season brings two guys that look very promising brought in from uk and knights and few spots to fill just trust what woolfs doing, he has 30 plays gor reason, and gilbert won't go yes injures dismantled our season but think the fact wolf signed him on longer n put him capt shows the respect he n side have for wha he brings to team

If he has suggested we ruin our cap, buy unloading on a position we are going to have 4 top players in rotation for next year, let alone depth players in the middle forward position to the point where we are going to offload a couple (Kerr being one) he is talking rubbish once again.

We are strong enough at prop. Yes we have had a few injures, but we have middle forward depth to cover a standard injury toll. This year was freakish in relation to injures to forwards.

Haas is the only current Bronco I would consider signing. I'm certain Norths will outlay 1.5m for him they just missed out on Hughes,

I know you don't have 100% brain capacity and I'm sorry you don't. What I said was ##C was Haas is the *ONLY* Broncos player that I would ever consider signing and that North Sydney will offer him 1.5m whether he leaves or not is his call. I hope Broncos are forced to offer him extra and they don't take him for granted.

lmao again nothing to do with my brain injury nothing to do with you think you know me its about why the ..... would we even want to look in the forwards at broncos, / or get rid of gilbert 99% are well over paid no no likely hood we would be wanting anywhere near those prices to pay

theres no way we get any decent players in there side even if they wanted kerr they wouldnt give us swap if it was it be for probbaly something that isnt even in there 30

i see us if we siging fuis an if we loose kerr we get fuis as a prop

I never mentioned getting rid of Tom Gilbert others did. I will say on Gilbert I do see his days as Dolphins first choice lock are probably over due to the emerge of Kurt Donoghoe as a genuine second 5/8 style of lock that frees up Izzy Katoa with a very high defensive work-rate and also Max Plath who I see as a player who covers lock, hooker and lesser extent second row with very high effectiveness.

Off contract end of 2026:
1 Connelly Lemuelu (2026) SRF
2 Francis Molo (2026) PF
3 Herbie Farnworth (2026) CTR
4 Jake Averillo (2026) Utility-back
5 Jamayne Isaako (2026) WG
6 James Walsh (2026) CTR SRF
7 Kodi Nikorima (2026) FE
8 Max Feagai (2026) CTR
9 Oryn Keeley (2026) SRF LF
10 Ray Stone (2026) LF
11 Selwyn Cobbo (2026) WG CTR FB
12 Trai Fuller (2026) FB

That doesn't include Felise Kaufusi who's yet to officially re-sign.

Among those off contract end of 2026 will include Molo who's 32 next year, Stone who's 29 next year and Kaufusi where if he plays next year will be his swansong. Kerr if he re-signs will be 30 next year.

Others mentioned swapping Gilbert for Haas not me and I've never ever suggested that. All I've said is the only Broncos player I would consider signing is Haas and I will now add at a value Dolphins deem a good fit, force the Broncos to pay overs for him not take him for granted and in any case North Sydney will offer massive overs for Haas.

Whilst Broncos have the best team on paper all the other players aren't even worth bothering with as Dolphins either have the position covered nicely or not a good fit into the club. Haas is the ONLY exception to everything he would be an awesome fit at Dolphins if the price is right but not at the expense of Gilbert as others have suggested.

Of those 12 the top 2 priorities are Farnworth and Averillo.

Keep Lemuelu. Farnworth, Averillo, Isaako, Walsh, Keeley.

Round 20 Dolphins team: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Max Feagai 4. Herbie Farnworth 18. Tevita Naufahu 5. Jake Averillo 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Francis Molo 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Aublix Tawha 11. Connelly Lemuelu 12. Oryn Keeley 13. Kurt Donoghoe 14. Harrison Graham 15. Ray Stone 16. Josh Kerr 17. Peter Hola. 18th man: 19. Kenny Bromwich

Team Tips: The Dolphins had the bye last week after beating the Cowboys 43-24 in Round 20 and moved into the top eight after Manly’s loss to the Bulldogs. Felise Kaufusi (knee) and Mark Nicholls (concussion) are both due back in Round 22, with Aublix Tawha and Francis Molo potentially shifting to the bench in a forward pack reshuffle. That will mean two bench players could miss out from the Round 20 side, with Peter Hola and Harrison Graham the most likely. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki (thumb) and Kodi Nikorima (hamstring) are not due back until Round 24.

Doesn't everyone rate Keeley? I haven't met anyone who doesn't.
There was a guy at the start of the year asking for one to watch. I said Keeley in that post. He is starting to come on this year, I rate him highly should he keep developing in an upward trend.

Funny enough, after posting I see this article.

Quote from the article.

"Lemuelu, 27, is now a "bright morning star" of the new-look back row that includes Oryn Keeley and the recently injured Kulikefu Finefeuiaki.

They are a key trio to take the Dolphins forward in the future and to help inspire a successful run to the finals."

Don't be surprised if he's a late scratching. Talking about Niko.
