Canterbury are never out of contests that’s what makes them so good in 2025 there’s a reason they’re 9-1 and almost certain to be 10-1 before heading into another bye. You will notice on Thursday the connection, desperation, constant line speed and fitness they have. Burton has the best kicking game he will torment Averillo, Isaako and Bostock like he done with the Roosters wingers last week.
lol i thiught you said reason dogs good was draw

Yep

The all-conquering Bulldogs, fittest of the fit with the best centre since Reg Gasnier, the best coach since..... .I don't know. Best ever? The connections, the desperation, the constant line speed. The best kicker in general play ever. How can out pwor liddle back fwee compete against such a menace? Like giants against infants! I change my tip and I'm going to one up Liverbird with Phins up Liverbird with Phins up.
  • Bulldogs by 1100
  • First try and 36 afterward: Matt Burton
  • MoM: Phillip Ronald Gould (I hear a rumour he is going to come out of retirement.)

BTW I think this is the week we can all discuss the awesomeness of the all-conquering Bulldogs in the main forum. I got some complaints a while ago and stated at that time and asked 2 257Matt to not use the main board to tell us about the moder-day Gods of RL, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs on the main board except for this week.

I've always respected the rules and transferred posts aimed at me and quoted them in the other forum but this thread is about Bulldogs v Dolphins it's the only time all year where I don't support or hope Dolphins win the game.

I also post way more Dolphins news that doesn't reach the mainstream largely because Badel & Meyn love writing about the nail polish colour Walsh is using this week.

Betting has Dolphins 3.35 the second longest odds this weekend after Roosters 3.40 even Knights are shorter odds at 3.07.

I like a lot of your content but serious, this Bulldogs BS is just so overpowering. No wonder even Bulldogs fans were pissed off. If someone was on here raving about Dolphins the way you do about the Bulldogs, I would urge the person to settle the fuck down and stop talking shit.

I don't think anyone goes on about the Dolphins on here the way some do about a team that isn't even the topic for discussion on this board.

I think most forums should be fan exclusive, because frankly some of the unrelated shit reminds me of phone spam (and I know what most of you would think about phone spam). I do enjoy posters like Equaliser, Red, Blockade etc, I put up with using the ignore function, to enjoy the measured discussion some provide.

Being a little older I don't suffer the BS anymore, and a lot of it is BS. For example, I read an article about Blake Taffee today. A guy recruited from Souths, thought to be a good up and coming player, only to be thrown on the scrap heap when more money is spent in the same position. The recruitment is anything other than good at that club, with no regard for the cap. And then players are thrown on the scrap heap to be forgotten about, especially in cap terms. Their recruitment is akin to throwing darts at a dart board, with the holes of missed darts covered up with smooth plaster coat. And the only thing that mattered in Gould's move, was that the club was able to spend truck loads, and if not hide truck loads. And when clubs like the Dragons, would pay the salary, they were rejected because they didn't have the wherewithal that the Bulldogs do.

I do feel sorry for Bulldogs supporters, as victory, is like buying drugs on the black market, the short-term hit is great, but all in all, it's just wrong and not really a victory, as after the hit goes, you're left regretting it.

Cut him a bit of slack for this week. You know if Dolphins win we won't see him for a while. Typically fans only want to discuss their team but I hear Matt was too much even for the Bulldogs forum. He is a Bulldogs fanatic but for things not related to the Bulldogs, his comments are usually pretty good. Not always but usually.

JMK had a cut which got infected. I mean, don't they have antibiotics? What's going on? One doesn't miss a month for a cut unless his leg was cut clean off.

Beginning to get Flegler vibes with Saifiti. At first he was touch and go for a week and now a month later.....
I don't think Saifiti or Plath be back any time soon.

As I said about recruitment & retention decisions fans need to start asking questions about all this stuff.

Todd Smith referee and Adam Gee in the bunker.

Gee has been known to miss some howlers and is actually a life member of Canterbury Referees.

Smith before going full time referee was working for ARL Development and was located in the Bulldogs offices.

We should question the recruitment of Saifiti and retention of Plath because they are injured🙄?
I don't know what is going on with Saifiti and JMK but Plath will be back after the bye.

No you misunderstood me. I said on that page start asking questions about a range of things. Someone said the Saifiti injury was Flegler vibes - ask the questions.

Even if it was, it'd be no ones fault. Obviously.
