1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2/10 Is that enough to move him to centre?
2. Jamayne Isaako 3/10 had a few runs and only one mistake
3. Jake Averillo 4/10 tried hard but has very little impact with ball in hand.
4. Herbie Farnworth 5/10 Ran hard, despite the raving of Cooper Cronk, defended well.
5. Junior Tupou 2/10 has to go. How slow is he?
6. Kodi Nikorima 5/10 tried hard. hasn't done much wrong.
7. Isaiya Katoa 4/10 better in the second half.
8. Daniel Saifiti 5/10 Not too bad
9. Jeremy Marshall-King 3/10 Worst game I've seen from him. Lucky not get pinned for 3 roll balls.
10. Felise Kaufusi 5/10 Defended well in the middle
11. Oryn Keeley 4/10 Not able to get into the game.
12. Max Plath 4/10 As above
13. Tom Gilbert 4/10 No impact with the ball.
    
    
14. Kurt Donoghoe 3/10 Where was he playing when he came on?
15. Josh Kerr 4/10 Not the worst forward.
16. Mark Nicholls 3/10 Maybe he's been going around a year too long but with Flegler out, who else is there?
17. Ray Stone 5/10 tackled and ran hard.

Very senior players gave away roll ball penalties and basic dumb penalties. They’re so poorly coached and seems like a disinterested rotten to the core culture.

I know what it’s like to have players who don’t want to train and a coach not up to standard. The best thing to do is flick them all.

So what if there’s one former Bulldogs player taking the club to court and 6 former players testifying what Gus now has is a committed group of players. He flicked Barrett he was a perennial assistant coach his only mistake was waiting until magic round 2022 two weeks after he had to coach them during the week which they ironically won vs Roosters. He should have done it in 2021.

The players aren’t interested and took way too many short cuts in the off season.

• Averillo to 5/8
• Hammer to centre
• Kodi to hooker
• JMK to the bench
• Donoghue to fullback
• Plath to the bench
• Keeley retains his spot with Finefuiaki in the backrow.

There isn't a coach alive who would mix up his spine like this just two games into the season. These guys have been training for months in these positions. Mass changes would do more harm than good.

The halves are fine. They just need a competent forward pack to win at least one battle for them. Averillo is barely a first grader and wouldn't be, on most teams. He has been a major disappointment. I agree with you on the Hammer/Donga situation. It might just work. We are really missing Fuller atm.

Give JMK a couple more weeks. He'll be just fine. Plath as an edge forward is a big blunder by Woolf. He does his best work up the middle and has a lot more impact as well. But, the skipper currently holds his former position and is unlikely to let go.

There are a lot of disturbing signs out there. This team looks a bit unmotivated atm (to say the least)and it will be a very long season if it continues.

lol , you sit there and attack players but yet fail to mention, one suprise you snap when others do , we are in our third year , and got the best side we could , so we can build on that , ffs 2nd game in 3rd year and we suppose be what exactly fs


you go n say you prized player is the engery of the side , its a bench players role to lift the side n lift a side , hes no utility the roles hes played in forwards hes crap n looked average in rest , if he aint bringing spark they be looking for someone else who can , sorry but its the truth


and as for dogs and the court case , if you can't look after the mental health of a player then you deserve everything you get

Plath is no hooker but can fill in for 10~15 to give JMK a rest. He did last season and wasn't a threat from dummy half with his running but handled himself fine with his service and defence. Because he ain't no edge backrower.

yes but they can only play from round one , if say for a example all the people we have in his position, are injured or suspended, they said on radio the other , if clubs players aint injured nrl wont be allowing it because if the play more than 5 games in either they have stay there

Development players are available for selection from round 1 but they can only play a handful of NRL games a year. So that pretty much makes them ineligible for the early rounds unless there is an injury crisis. If Waqa isn't fit, might need to consider something else for Nicholls.

Donoghue played 9 games last year on a development deal.

Kurtis Morrin at the Bulldogs played 20 last year.

The train & trial players are effectively limited to 3 games once they get to 3 games they get their trial deal upgraded to development deal and it goes onto the cap. Dolphins used two train & trial players last year Fuller played 10-11 games and Hubner played 4.

There's a real quirk with the QRL that has screwed Dolphins considering promoting Josh Allen to the squad probably the standout prop in the Cowboys trial and most mature ready of the backups age wise. He's out for 2 games due to suspension. Round 1 was postponed, he's out of Redcliffe's round 2-3 games because of suspension, round 4 they have a bye and he's available from round 5.

yeah, they did but the nrl made sure they were given upgrades to play like trai was , because we had injury n space and he played more than the 5 thats why they did and because we now had no spot free with s'ua coming this season , it be harder to do so its not as easy as you say it is

Development players aren't restricted on games they can play and there's only 5 on development deals most clubs have 6 players.

They have to be upgraded into the top 30 if they play over a certain number of games. It's not many games. I think only 6 or 7 after which they have to be upgraded.

no i am saying you take 6 players out put them in nrl you cant drop 6 contracted ones to nrl all season as the cup side will have cap as well and if its over 5 games they have be permeant fixtures which nrl wont allow having 6 dropping to qld cup as they can only go there n play 6-7 games


so not going happen , unless they are given full time nrl contrcts which nrl has finial say , plus i belive they have to play two years for us in qld cup to get the exemption if they havent they dont get upgrade till there two years in cup side up thats why few are waiting
