Sad part is that the Dolphins are fast becoming a retired and journeymen transit lounge where good talent juniors from the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions will go to other clubs whilst the Dolphins cling onto players who should have retired more than a year ago or are middle of the road journeymen that are capable of one good performance in their careers.

The good kids are just going to leave for better opportunities and more professional coaching.
lol like who none them kids are ready , ffs even the kids that been in the state side , phins have some of the best development guys in the comp they will no when ready

every team in the comp is going lose juniors its part life been happening since the early days you will never stop that especailly when other clubs need them because they dont create enough

There's a clear top 6 adding in Cronulla and Canterbury than daylight to the rest.
I admire your loyalty but really, it's becoming ridiculous. Cronulla might be good but Bulldogs are daylight away from the top teams. I'm very confident Dolphins will beat the Bulldogs both in games against them and on the ladder at the end of the season but I think the best the Dolphins can hope for is to sneak into the top 8.

Bulldogs not the only side to switch off after gaining a match winning lead Storm done the same today.

There's such a clear cut top 6 and Canberra distant as no.7.

Dolphins are a long way off the pace with fitness, coaching, depth, talent and depth a long way away too many has beens and mid range journeymen with no real encouragement for the pathways to come through.

LJ Nonu should be in the team
He's not in the Top 30 and is unavailable for selection without the NRL's permission. But why would they? He's 19 yo and is still an unknown quantity. He scored a couple tries against a reserve grade quality NQ but he isn't ready for the top grade and may never be.

Promoting a player when spots are open on the Top 30 and Supplementary rosters is a stroke of the pen first thing Monday.

Sides like Penrith, Canterbury, Melbourne and Madge's Broncos leading into a Thursday game would train Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Dolphins will only train Monday and Wednesday.

GC might be good this year and NQ might bounce. Dolphins will only get better as well but a few things Woolf has to work on. From the first round, I think Melbourne, Penrith, Manly and Brisbane are way ahead. After those 4, who knows? Bulldogs won't be up there. Spine is rubbish. Burton is a good centre but average at best 5/8. I think at least one of Dolphins, GC and NQ will come good along with Cronulla. So that would leave 1 or 2 teams to be cannon fodder in the first week of the finals. I guess Bulldogs are a chance. Canberra have a young team which will get better as the season progresses.

They are full in all regards, though.
No they aren’t they have one top 30 and one development spot open. What the Dolphins have is too many has beens and journeymen players who aren’t going to take the club to the next level blocking the pathways. It’s a road to failure.

Dolphins are sooon material and Newcastle will expose that on Thursday

Burton is a 5/8 at club level he’s only played one season at centre his whole life and that was to cover injuries

Nope. They are all full. You need to check it out one day. I think the last top 30 spot was filled by Mike Waqa. It's all irrelevant, anyways. If there was a spot vacant, they wouldn't fill it with a 19 yo winger.

Michael Waqa was already in the 30.

There's 29 in the 30 and 5 on Development so one spot open on each.

I know they won't fill it with a rising player it will be filled by an overpaid journeyman.

because unlike you theres process they go through , we have older players or reason guys like lj only have played 5-6 games at cup level give the kid a season in qld cup to get the hang of it , you really need think of there futures put them in to early you burn them out , like kid like Harrison, after his injury he wasn't prepeared for the work he had to do to get back in side , and theres plenty other cases

let the right judges look after him when hes ready he get nod( ffs again we aint look to win the comp in 2 years just build in season to season

you go look at dogs

all bount bringing these kids in at right time ,

Dolphins are spoon material. Lost Katoa or JMK early or for an extended period, we are in big trouble. But so are the Dogs. I guess what they have going for them is a rubbish spine so not as reliant on one or two players.
