I didn't. I thought he would get a chance sometime early this year but not round 1. And I don't like it. He's obviously penciled in to come on at hooker where he has consistently struggled. I think the pack is a bit light.

my thoughts too having guy come in off the bench who just come back from injury leaves us not much fire power if we need it with all the props as well as gilbert thats played not much footy

Donoghue can also play backrow too and did in a game or two last year when covering for injuries that's the role now of the 17th player in the squad.

It's all irrelevant as Dolphins will be lucky to field a side with 4-5 players pulling out not a single issue at the Broncos. One thing we know is that Donoghue wouldn't be one of those players pulling out.
