sunsine coast are parting ways with Melbourne storm and will be linking with us as storm going field own sides ( not sure in brisbane tigers new club )

Smart move by Melbourne to have a team in NSW Cup and this is something Ikin needs to fix up with the Queensland Cup and hasn't in his time there.

NSW Cup sides play 24 games across 26 rounds which allows clubs to have their players not in the NRL team or needing game time in the lower grades every chance to play.

Queensland Cup plays 20 games across 23 rounds which means they have 3 byes and 3 additional weeks off.

Queensland Cup competition starts same week as NSW Cup ends same week both a week before the NRL ends.
